Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Elektrolyten für elektrische Sammler.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Elektrolyten für elektrische Sammler mit positiver Bleisuperoxydelektrode und negativer Metallelektrode. Nach der Erfindung wird in einer Zelle, die eine Blei-und eine Aluminiumelektrode enthält, eine Lösung von etwa 1000 Natriumsilikat in destilliertem Wasser mit Gleich-oder Wechselstrom elektrolysiert. Es entsteht eine weissliche Flüssigkeit, die filtriert wird, worauf man sie bis etwa 2 (T Be mit reiner Schwefelsäure ansäuert und ihr dann 6% Zinksulfat zusetzt.
Nach Angabe des Erfinders soll hiebei Kieselsäure und All1minil1mhydroxyd im kolloidalen Zustande in der Flüssigkeit verbleiben und nur die überschüssige Kieselga. llerte aus- ge ; ehieden werden.

The invention relates to a method for producing an electrolyte for electrical collectors with a positive lead peroxide electrode and a negative metal electrode. According to the invention, a solution of about 1000 sodium silicate in distilled water is electrolyzed with direct or alternating current in a cell which contains a lead and an aluminum electrode. The result is a whitish liquid that is filtered, whereupon it is acidified to about 2 (T Be with pure sulfuric acid and then 6% zinc sulfate is added.
