Es würden also keine festen Umhüllungen entstehen.
So z.

Method of preserving wood.
To paints. which from a mixture of water glass. Alkaline lye and earth or metal paints are made to make them resistant to weathering, they receive an addition of cement. You have already mixed cement or cement and sand, also suitable paints with water to a paintable paint and then added half a liter of magnesium chlorine lye to about 10 liters of this paint, as a replacement agent for glue. Quark or buttermilk, which substances make the cement color indelible.
It is also known to preserve wood with concrete or cement. Cement is used alone or in conjunction with coal tar. Asphalt and Like. Used. Applied in a more or less thick layer on the wood and thus forms a solid, rigid protective cover.
These procedures are cumbersome and expensive. In addition, they do not adequately protect the wood against the formation of rot fungi.
In contrast, the invention creates a significantly cheaper and better preservation in that the wood is covered with a thin layer of concrete or cement. this is made up with a germicidal, aqueous solution.
As germicidal agents such. B. rock salt. Knpfer or iron vitriol. Zinc and mercury salts or other similar, rot-destroying substances are used. Coal tar or its derivatives are excluded because these substances prevent cement from setting. So there would be no solid envelopes.
This method is particularly suitable for protecting pit timber. The protective layer can be applied to the pit wood in various ways. So z. B. the wood can be immersed in the appropriately prepared concrete mass prior to assembly into door frames or the concrete mass is painted or sprayed onto the door frames that have already been installed.
