Fig. 4 ist ein Schnitt durch

Fig. 1).

to direct cylinders of hydraulic brakes on automobiles and other vehicles.
In the manufacture of the non-expandable hose according to a known method, the hose is expanded by forcing liquid under pressure into the hose, and while the hose is in its expanded state, a precisely inserted p: 1ssrndr
Wire screw placed in the cavity of the hose. So when the internal pressure ceases, the hose is kept in its stretched state and will not expand significantly later when it is subjected to internal pressure if the internal pressures are lower than the pressure it exerted when the wire screw was inserted was subjected to the cavity.
The present invention consists first of all in the pressure of the liquid not only for the
Stretching of the hose, but also for bringing the wire screw into the cavity of the

The hose 10 may be of any type capable of withstanding high internal pressures. The connection piece at the end of the hose consists of the outer sleeve 11, which around the
The end of the hose is attached around and provided with the screw nipple 12. The inner surface of the sleeve 11 is grooved as shown at 15 in FIGS. 6 and 7. Inside the nipple 12 is the hollow piece 13 with a tapered part 14 (FIG. 6) which protrudes into the cavity of the hose. appropriate.
After attaching the hollow piece 13, the tapered part 11 is expanded, as can be seen from FIG. 7, so that the inner diameter of the hollow piece is slightly larger than the normal one

The means for bringing the wire spiral, as shown at 16 in FIG. 7, into the cavity of the hose will now be described. Inside the vessel 17, a vertical, tubular vessel 21 is attached by means of the brackets 18 attached to the stand 19, which on the floor by means of

has come to bring the paragraph 31 into the chuck 30.
The hose is now rotated through the chuck 30 by means of the hand wheel 29. The spring 36 holds the handwheel hub in connection with the tube connector during this process.

is connected to the sleeve 26, the hose has first passed the upwardly projecting end 37 of the rod 24.
Slidably mounted in the track 20 formed in the material of the stand 19 is a bracket 38 which carries the threaded bushing 39 (FIG. 4) to be connected to the nipple 72 of the connector at the upper end of the hose to be. While the hose is brought over the rod 37 and connected to the sleeve 26, the console 38 and the parts attached to it are held in their uppermost position by means of the spring 40 attached to the stand 19 (FIG. 5). However, when the hose is connected to the socket 26, as set out above, the bracket 38 is lowered and the socket 39 is brought into communication with the connector at the top of the hose.
In this process, the upper end 37 of the rod passes through the gland 41 at the upper end of the sleeve 39.
A handwheel 42 is attached to the sleeve 39, by means of which the sleeve can be rotated,

piece to connect. During this process, rotation of the hose is prevented by the flattened shoulder of the connecting piece, since it is held in place by the console 38.
A cylinder 45 is held by the console 44 (FIGS. 1 and 2) and is in communication through the tube 46 with a source of compressed air. A valve 47 is provided to let the air into the cylinder 4.5. The valve can be actuated by the lever 48 which is connected to the pull rod 49 by means of a bolt at one end. The opposite end of the tie rod 49 is connected to the lever 50 by means of a bolt (see FIG. 1). The lever 50 is arranged rotatably by means of a bolt at 51 and is provided with a footstep 52 which is generally held in its raised position by means of the spring 53. Thus, when air is to be let into the cylinder 45, the worker can press down the footstep 52, whereby air enters the cylinder 45 by means of the valve 47.
In the cylinder 45 is a piston 54 which is connected by the rod 55 to a piston 56 which is slidably mounted in the cylinder 57. The cylinder 57 is also supported by the bracket 44. A compression spring 58 is attached to the rod 55 between the upper end of the cylinder 57 and the piston 54 and generally keeps the piston in its uppermost position. The lower end of the cylinder 57 communicates with the cavity of the sleeve 26 through the tube 60 (Fig. 3).
In communication with the lower end of the cylinder 57 is a pipe 62 which is connected to the strainer 63 through the check valve 64. The check valve 64 is attached to liquid
EMI2.5
It is assumed that the vessel 17 has a sufficient supply of liquid (preferably a mixture of oil and alcohol) to carry out the method and that the cylinder 57 and the tubes 21 and 60 are also filled with liquid. The rod 24 is then inserted into the tube 21 and the coil spring 16 is wrapped around the rod. The hose 10 is then brought over the upper end 37 of the rod and connected to the sleeve 26 in the manner described above.
The bracket 38 is then lowered and the sleeve 39 is attached to the top of the hose.
The footstep 52 is now pressed down, opens the valve 47 and lets compressed air into the cylinder 45.
This moves pistons 54 and 56 downward. The piston 56 drives the liquid in the cylinder 57 through the tube 60 into the tube 21 and into the cavity of the hose 70. Due to the fact that the area of the piston 56 is only part of the area of the piston 54, the liquid in the cylinder 57 are put under very high pressure. In practice, pressure is essentially approximate

The end 25 of the rod is pushed up by the liquid which is under pressure, so that it tends to move the rod upwards. Because the upper end 37 of the rod goes through the stuffing box 41, it is not affected by the pressure fluid. so that an upward movement of the rod occurs. The rod can be approximately 0 # 6 cm in diameter; the area of the rod

Once the pressure is removed from the liquid in the cylinder, the rod 24 will drop or can be conveniently returned to its lowest position. The connecting pieces at the opposite ends of the hose can now from the sleeves 26 and. 39 are praised by the handwheels 29 and 4.2 and the hose is removed from the apparatus in the opposite way. So the fluid pressure in the system not only expands the hose. but also brings the wire screw 46 into the cavity of the hose.
PATENT CLAIMS:]. A method to bring a wire screw or other movable reinforcement or the like into the cavity of a hose, characterized in that pressure fluid is used through which the hose is simultaneously expanded and the wire screw or the like is brought into the cavity of the hose.
