Kapselwerk.

Capsule plant.
The subject of the invention is a capsule mechanism in which the piston is shaped in such a way that the liquid conveyance effected by it, i. H. its absorption during one revolution follows a biaxially symmetrical curve. This capsule system can work both as a prime mover and as a pump and is particularly suitable for fluid transmissions due to the even delivery or absorption.
FIGS. 1 and 2 show the mode of operation of the known capsule works. 3 and 4 are diagrams for explaining the mode of operation of the subject matter of the invention.
In order to explain the action of the capsule mechanism according to the invention, only a cross section is considered below, since in the cylindrical configuration of the capsule mechanism the change in the spaces is proportional to the change in the cross-sectional area.
The solution to the given task of building a capsule mechanism whose piston (rotary piston) has a biaxially symmetrical power curve during one revolution. consists in giving the piston such a shape that the geometric representation of the amount of liquid delivered during half a revolution, in which the angular rotation is plotted as the abscissa and the currently delivered amount of liquid as the ordinate.
also a biaxially symmetrical viewing line (Fig. 3) results in a vertical axis of symmetry at 90, horizontal axis of symmetry parallel to the abscissa axis in the

The shape of the curve is irrelevant apart from the described symmetry condition. which means that there are an infinite number of piston shapes. which meet the conditions set. The shape of the piston quadrant corresponding to the curve part III or IV (FIG. 3) and the subsequent symmetrical part can therefore be chosen arbitrarily. the displacement by 3 "together equals V max (FIG. 3).
The momentary displacement V max occurs when the slide is in position J. Here it corresponds to the displacement from an annular surface, the outer radius of which is equal to the housing radius R and the width of which is equal to the greater distance A (point 9) of the piston circumference from the housing wall.
The area is therefore 11 [R2- (R-A) 2] and this is proportional to V max.
By assuming the shape of the piston circumference 111, the respective effective slide length is J. ' predetermined. The diametrically opposite slide length A '' results from the condition,

can be calculated as the only unknown quantity for each A ', so that the symmetrical circumferential pieces IV and IV (FIG. 4) can easily be determined point by point.
For the assumption made that the piston peripheral parts 111 and III 'are arcs of a circle, the result for the entire piston is a heart shape that is slightly indented at 9.
