  Verfahren zum Ausbessern schadhafte Strumpf, Socken u. dgl. 



   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zum Ausbessern schadhafte Strümpfe u. dgl., darin bestehend, dass die Strumpflocher mittels eines mit einer Klebschicht überzogenen   Stofflecks   beklebt werden, so dass das Stopfen entfällt. 



   Eine Ausführungsform des Verfahrens besteht darin, dass man den auszubessernden Strumpf umkehrt und unter die schadhafte Stelle einen harten Gegenstand schiebt. Dann schneidet man vom Stoff, welcher in Farbe und Gewebe dem zu reparierenden Strumpf gleich ist, ein dem auszubessernden Loch entsprechendes Stück ab. Dieses wird mit der   gummierten   Seite nach unten auf das Loch aufgelegt, worauf es   dmeh   Plätten mit einem heissen   Plätteisen   fest an den Strumpf angelegt wird. Durch die Hitze bindet sich der Stoff fest mit dem Strumpfstoff. Das präparierte Gewebe muss, mit einem genügend breiten Rand auf dem Lochrand aufliegen.

   Während sich so die Ränder fest miteinander verbinden, wird die Klebschicht innerhalb der schadhafte Stelle durch das Strumpfloch hindurch auf den darunter befindlichen   UnterJagsgegenstand übertragen,   so dass dadurch innerhalb des Loches das Gewebe zum Vorsehen kommt. Es ist daher zweckmässig, die eingeführte Unterlage mit einem Flanelltuch od. dgl.

1. Verfahren zum Ausbessern schadhafte   Strümpfe, Socken   u. dgl., dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die schadhafte Stelle mittels eines mit einer Klebschicht überzogenen Stoffleckes, der vorteilhaft in der Farbe und dem Gewebe dem jeweiligen Strumpfstoff gleichkommt : überklebt wird.

   The invention relates to a method for mending damaged stockings and. Like., consisting in that the stocking holes are glued by means of a fabric leak covered with an adhesive layer, so that the plug is omitted.



   One embodiment of the method consists in that the stocking to be repaired is reversed and a hard object is pushed under the damaged area. Then cut off a piece of material that corresponds to the hole to be repaired from the material, which is the same in color and fabric as the stocking to be repaired. This is placed with the rubberized side down on the hole, whereupon it is firmly applied to the stocking with a hot flat iron. The heat binds the fabric tightly to the stocking fabric. The prepared tissue must rest on the edge of the hole with a sufficiently wide margin.

   While the edges are firmly connected to one another in this way, the adhesive layer inside the damaged area is transferred through the stocking hole to the underlying underlay object, so that the fabric is provided within the hole. It is therefore advisable to cover the introduced pad with a flannel cloth or the like.
