   Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wassererhitzer, der insbesondere als   Ekonomiser   oder als Zusatzkessel (z. B. bei Zentralheizungen) Anwendung finden kann und aus   einem wassergefüllten Hohlmantel   besteht, der von den abziehenden Heizgasen durchzogen wird. Die Erfindung besteht darin,   dass   in den Innenraum des Hohlmantels von diesem ausgehende Wasserrohre hineinragen, die mit dem Hohlmantel einen Ringkanal und untereinander einen zentralen Heizgaszug bilden, dessen freier Querschnitt durch ein Drosselorgan regelbar ist.
