Oil switch with extinguishing chamber.
It is known in oil switches to fasten the step resistors, which are used to reduce the switch-on current surge, to the bushings projecting into the interior of the switch, or to arrange them around the arcing chambers that are often attached to these bushings. However, since the space is limited at this point, the resistances must be dimensioned more tightly than is desirable with regard to safety. The effect of the ohmic resistances is based on the fact that the voltage drop generated in them by the switch-on current limits the level of this current. The
EMI1.1
the current only gradually reaches its maximum value. Dip. the latter, however, have the advantage that they take up considerably less space or can be built more safely with the same dimensions.
Their dimensions become even smaller if the inductive resistance is increased by iron.
According to the invention, the arcing chambers are used to increase the inductive resistance
EMI1.2
A material with particularly high permeability is chosen moderately. The winding is applied to the arcing chamber in a suitable manner. You can z. B. wind up on a number of concentric isolation cylinders.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the accompanying drawing. The iron extinguishing chamber b sits on the bushing a. The movable pin contact e has just left the fixed mating contact d. Insulation cylinders e are attached to it coaxially to the release chamber and carry the winding t. The beginning of the winding is connected to the release chamber, the end to a special contact g.
