Solderless pipe connection.
The present invention relates to a solderless pipe connection to solid bodies, in particular to pump bodies of lubricating pumps, in which a filler, preferably a soft metal ring, is introduced between the expanded pipe end protruding into a hole in the connection body and the hole wall.
According to the invention, the pipe section surrounded by the filler and expediently also the perforated wall are at least partially roughened (knurled). In this way, a particularly secure hold of the pipe connection is achieved.
EMI1.1
shown in cross section according to A-B of FIG. 4 and 5 show a third example in longitudinal section and cross section.
The bore a in the pump body b (Fig. 1) is widened at its end opening out of the body to the hole c. The flared (flanged) pipe end d to be connected, which is provided with knurled grooves, surrounds an aluminum ring e which, together with the pipe end, is pressed into the hole c until the edge of the flared pipe end forms a seal on the shoulder formed between the bore a and its extension c sits on.
In the second example according to FIGS. 2 and 3, longitudinal grooves (Randei) t are made both on the pipe end and in the hole wall. They protect the pipe against leakage caused by torsional forces.
In the third example, in addition to these longitudinal grooves / an annular transverse groove g is provided in the hole wall. The compressed aluminum ring fills this groove and thus also secures the pipe connection against leakage caused by tensile forces. The connection according to FIGS. 4 and 5 is particularly suitable for high pressures.
Instead of pressing the filling compound between the pipe and the bore, as in the exemplary embodiments, it could also be poured in. Soft metals such as zinc, copper, aluminum, soft iron or the like and corresponding alloys are particularly suitable for pressing in.
