  Glaskolben ffir Glühlampen.

 EMI1.1

Fig. 3 zeigt die fertige Lampe.

  Glass bulbs for light bulbs.
The subject of the invention is a glass bulb for incandescent lamps, in which there is a retracted intermediate part between the actual bulb and the neck, which is inserted during melting
 EMI1.1
Manufacture neck diameter, which is particularly desirable for ball lamps and fantasy lamps.

If a neck with such a small diameter adjoins the flask directly, the result of the large glass requirement of the flask is an uneven and too great wall thickness of the neck, which makes melting difficult and leads to sockets that sit at an angle, as the thick wall areas heat up less and As a result, the pressure of the flames and the pull of the draining glass are less pressed in or pulled in; there are also tensions that cause the neck of the glass to crack and greatly increase the percentage of bruising during manufacture.

You have therefore had to use much larger neck diameters so far, which had the result that the neck had the shape of a cone with a large base diameter and bead-shaped connection to the glass bulb after melting, as shown in Fig. 1 of the drawing, which, apart from ugly appearance of the lamp, the correct setting in the base difficult If, however, the melting is carried out in such a way that the entire neck part disappears, the bulb itself is deformed, which is particularly undesirable with fantasy lamps.

Fig. 2 shows a fantasy lamp according to the invention before melting. Between the piston 1 and the neck 3, which have retained the old shape, the retracted extension 2 is connected, which has the desired small diameter. The lamp is now easily melted down and mounted using an adapter designed in this way. When the little foot is melted, the flame will strike the neck at some distance from the intermediate part 2. As a result of its radial removal, the intermediate part 2 is substantially less hot than the neck, so that it is at most plastic, while the actual neck 3 can be softened and drawn in.

As a result of the small and invariable diameter of the extension 2, only support frames with a correspondingly small diameter can be inserted into the lamp. Fig. 3 shows the finished lamp. Approach 2 has been retained. It is used to center the lamp in the base. It is adjoined by the now conical neck 3 ′, the largest diameter of which can be drawn in here to the diameter of the attachment 2, so that the lamp also has a much more pleasing appearance.
