Process for the production of pressure pipes with sheet metal pipe lying between two layers of concrete.
Pressure pipes from a thin-walled sheet metal pipe clad with concrete on both sides have been produced in a standing form by stamping out or pouring out the annular space formed by the sheet metal body and the mold wall on the one hand, and the sheet metal body and a centrally inserted core on the other.
Since spun concrete is known to be superior to stamped and cast concrete in terms of strength and density, an inner layer of concrete has already been spun in sheet metal pipes. However, the inner concrete layer produced by centrifugation is only satisfactory if the sheet metal body of the inner surface of the mold is good everywhere, i.e. i. to a fraction of a millimeter, and if its

To experience stretching. Because if it were to recede elastically after the centrifugal force had ceased, the concrete lining that had not yet set would be crushed.
According to the invention, lead pipes with an inner and outer concrete layer are to be manufactured in such a way that the outer concrete layer is first poured or tamped and allowed to harden in a standing form, but then the half-finished pipe in the same form, which is now used horizontally, by spinning in the known manner is clad inside with concrete. The precisely fitting and unyielding support of the sheet metal body by the outer concrete layer avoids any stretching of the sheet metal body and thus any damage to the inner concrete layer; the sheet metal body only needs to be chosen so strong that it does not change its shape when tamping or pouring.
The drawing shows in Fig. 1 the upright, divided casting or ramming and centrifuging

According to FIG. 2, the mold a containing the semi-finished product b-e lies in the usual manner with races d on the support and drive rollers e, in order now to be provided with the inner concrete layer t by spinning in the known manner. The inner concrete layer can be spun 24 hours after pouring the outer concrete layer.
