Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Fig, 6 und 7 dargestellt ist..

 EMI1.1

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

The shape of the heating wire 4 within the finished radiator can be seen from FIG. The cord 6 for the electrical current is connected to the heating wire 4 by means of a plug 7 or the like.

   The wire 4 can itself be surrounded by an insulating layer 8 (FIGS. 8 and 9) and either by itself or with this insulating layer or in intermediate layers 9 of mica or the like embedded (FIG. 3). If necessary, only one mica layer 9 can be used. A simple way of connecting the heating wire to an insulating pad is shown in FIG. 10. The heating wire 4 is shown here
 EMI2.1
 the heating wire is optionally inserted between the two wooden panels 1, 2 using one or two mica layers 9, as shown in FIG. 4 on a larger scale.

   If the heating wire 4 is relatively strong, grooves 12 can be machined in advance in the surfaces of the plates 1, 2 or in one of these surfaces in order to achieve intimate contact with the heating element surrounding it, as in the embodiment according to FIGS. 5-7, especially in
Fig, 6 and 7 is shown ..

   According to FIG. 11, the radiator has an elongated round shape in plan. In this radiator, the heating wire 4 is laid crosswise so that the openings 5 are surrounded on all sides by the heating wire.

   FIG. 12 shows a radiator which is octagonal in plan and in which the recesses 5 ′ are elongated
Slots are formed. The external shape of the radiator as well as the shape and arrangement of the recesses is arbitrary, as is the thickness of the radiator and the heating wire.

  The plates 1, 2 can consist of grown wood or wood pulp of any type, for example cast wood mass.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Electric radiator in which the heating element is arranged in wood or wood pulp, characterized in that the heating element is pressed between two parts made of wood or wood pulp made difficult to burn, optionally with the insertion of insulating layers that tightly surround the heating element.
