In eine Folge regulärer Blätter einer Zeitung, eines Buches od. dgl. eingeschaltetes Reklameblatt.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein zum Einschalten, Einheften oder Einbinden in Zeitungen, Bücher, Kataloge od. dgl. bestimmtes, zu Reklamezweeken dienendes Blatt, das durch seine Eigenart von der der andern Blätter abweicht, zu dem Zwecke, die Aufmerksamkeit der Leser auf dieses Blatt und den darauf angebrachten Rekl'1meaufdruck zu richten.
Dieser Zweck wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch erreicht, dass das betreffende Blatt eine von der der andern mit ihm zusammengefalteten oder zusammengehefteten Blätter in auffallender Weise abweichende Randgestaltung erhält, indem man es z. B. in irgendeiner Richtung grösser oder kleiner macht wie die andern Blätter, sei es in der Breite oder in der Länge oder auch in beiden Richtungen, wobei man ausserdem den Rändern des Blattes jede beliebige Appretur geben kann. Man kann also beispielsweise das Blatt so gestalten, dass es bei rechteckiger Form in der Höhe normal ist, in der Breite dagegen von den Abmessungen der andern Blätter abweicht, z. B. nur ein Viertel oder die Hälfte oder drei Viertel der Breite der normalen Blätter hat.
Man kann aber, um das Blatt noch auffallender zu machen, auch die Begrenzung der Ränder in beliebiger ungewöhnlicher Weise von der Rechteckform abweichend gestalten, z. B. durch Abschrägung einer oder mehrerer Seiten des ursprünglichen Rechteckformats in verschiedenem Masse, so dass z. B. das Blatt schliesslich auch Dreieckform erhalten kann, oder durch Ausbildung des Randes ganz oder teilweise in Form einer Kurve, z. B. eines Kreisbogens, einer Ellipse od. dgl. oder schliesslich durch ganz willkürliche Formgebung beliebiger Art.
Die so erzielte Wirkung kann noch gesteigert werden durch auffallende Massnahmen anderer Art, z. B. dadurch, dass man den Blattrand ganz oder zum Teil nicht glatt schneidet, sondern gefasert, gezackt oder sonstwie ungewöhnlich gestaltet, oder durch Ausführung des Blattes in einer andern Papierart oder Färbung wie die übrigen Blätter, oder in beliebiger sonstiger Weise.

B. dadurch erreichen, dass man das irreguläre Blatt aus einem Stück mit einem normalen Blatt herstellt, bei Zeitungen speziell im Rotationsdruckverfahren z.

Durch Einreihen eines solchen Bogens in die Folge der übrigen Bogen wird erreicht, dass, selbst wenn (wie z. B. bei Tageszeitungen) eine Verbindung der einzelnen zusimmengefalteten Bogen untereinander lediglich durch Zusammenlegen ohne Heftung erfolgt, dennoch eine Verschiebung des irregulären Blattes aus seiner Lage nicht erfolgen kann, weil es durch den über die Faltstelle mit ihm zusammenhängenden andern Teil des Bogens in seiner Lage zu den andern Blättern festgehalten wird.

PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. In eine Folge regulärer Blätter einer Zeitung, eines Buches od. dgl. eingeschaltetes Reklameblatt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Reklameblatt in der Gestaltung seiner Ränder von der der andern Blätter abweicht und mit den regulären Blättern der Zeitung, des Buches od. dgl. in derselben Weise, wie diese untereinander, verbunden ist.
