source fail, the thumb 12 was pushed against the guide pin before the gas line opened. The tap can only be opened when the power source is active.
Since the gas burner and the thermostat can be at different distances from the gas tap depending on the location, the connection is expediently made using a plug contact. In order to enable the thumb 12 to be unlocked and the cock to close automatically in the event of the plug contact slipping out unintentionally when the flame goes out, the following special design of the plug contact is provided to close the circuit (FIGS. 4 and 5). The sockets 20, 21 are insulated and secured in a board 22 of the housing.
Across from the book, 20, a metal plate 24 hinged to a contact piece 23 is arranged, which is pressed by a spring 25 against a contact piece 26 connected to the line leading to the magnet.
The sleeve 21 is connected to the line leading to the magnet. When the thermostat is connected by means of the plug, one bolt 27 of the same pushes the plate 24 back, so that the current from the power source 13 is conducted via the bolt 27 to the thermostat and via the plug pin 28 to the magnet (FIG. 4). When the plug slides out, the current through the plate 24 becomes

As can be seen, the device ensures full safety against gas accidents without requiring special handling, since all processes are only dependent on the throttle lever.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Safety device for gas burners, in which a thermostat causes the gas tap to close in the event of the outflow of unignited gas, characterized in that the tap vortex is firmly connected to a shaft (4) which influenced one of the thermostat with the armature (9) Electromagnet (8) interacting stop (12), as well as one part (5) of a switch for the circuit carries and is under the action of a spring ('1) which always tries to bring the cock into the closed position.
