EMI1.1
In the case of remote controls that work with motor-driven voters, it is important that the walker's dialing device starts up at the same time as that of the recipient and that the voters move synchronously across the rows of contacts and at the same time stop at corresponding contacts. While a number of arrangements have become known with which this task can be accomplished, most are expensive and complicated, they require careful maintenance and often require a large number of transmission wires.
According to the invention, the synchronization of the adjusting motors of the same type and of the same size is sufficient with two transmission wires. An extremely simple contact device is used to synchronize the motors. This exists in both places, i. H. on the transmitter side as well as on the receiving side, made of similar contact disks or the like, which are coupled to the setting motor. Each adjusting motor has a contact disc which, when the motor is in the zero position, interrupts its own circuit, and another one which, when the motor is in the zero position, connects one of the two long-distance lines to the power source via a relay coil.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment for the invention. In this, G is the walking station, which is connected to the receiving station E by a long-distance line F. From this trunk line, two wires are used for synchronizing the voter motors, one of which may be referred to as synchronizing wire s and the other as return wire r. In both plants G and E there is a local power source b which can supply direct or alternating current. So it can be a battery, a dynamo, a converter, rectifier or transformer.
The contact arm a of the selector disc w of each drive is driven by the motor M; driven via the back gear r; The two contact elements c and d are coupled to it directly or via an intermediate gear, the first of which as a normally open contact disk interrupts its circuit and the latter of which as a normally closed contact lever closes its circuit when the contact arm a is moved one contact pitch further on the selector disk. The contacts of a relay i, which is referred to as a selector relay, are located in the circuit of each motor fit.
The coils of the selector relay i of the walker and the receiving station are connected in series through the synchronization line s via the two normally closed contact levers d. The contacts of the starting relay 1 and the holding relay h in the signaling point are also in the same circuit. The start relay is energized by pressing the le push button, albeit briefly, and has self-locking contacts. The excitation of the holding relay h is controlled by the selector disk w and has nothing to do with the invention.
The mode of operation is now as follows: At command G, the position of the dial that is to be set in both companies G and E is first set by closing a command switch or push button - not shown in the scheme; then the push button k is pressed, which can be released again immediately. This closes
EMI1.2
The two selector relays i now receive power in the transmitter and in the receive mode and close the local circuits of the motors w. so that these start up. After a small angle of rotation, the brushes of the contact disk e leave their isolation points and are pushed through the metal disk

has moved forward by one contact division.
This happens in the scheme of the drawing depending on half a revolution of the motor m. If now both motors, the one on the encoder side and the one on the receiver side. have completed half a turn, the initial state occurs again. d. H. then the relay i and the wire s receive power again; As a result of the relay i responding, the motors m start up again. and the process begins again. If one engine is running faster than the other, it has to wait. until this has caught up with him. The synchronism of the two voters is thus guaranteed under all circumstances.
If the panes have then reached the position given by the aforementioned command holder, the HalLerelais h receives power and opens the excitation circuit of the starting relay 1, so that it drops out and the motors 111 finally switch off. How this is done is not the subject of the invention.
The new device is not limited to remote controls with dials, but can be used with all possible remote controls, command devices and signaling devices, where the accuracy of the synchronous movement during a rotation is not important, but where the rest and intermediate positions of the synchronous devices are important for all Places must be the same.
The device can also be used analogously if several receiving stations are assigned to a donor station or if a receiving station is to be served by several donor stations. The motors to drive the Wälller do not need to be rotating machines, they can be magnetic motors or hydraulic or pneumatic motors that are controlled electro-hydraulic or electro-pneumatic.
