Method for attaching vessel bottom stand pieces to milk cans.
The present invention relates to a method for attaching base rings to the milk cans. It is characterized in that the standing ring is pulled onto a part of the base, which is reinforced with respect to the vessel wall, and the vessel wall, which is slightly upward in the same thickness, and is permanently anchored to the latter.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of milk cans are shown, which are manufactured according to the method.
1, 2 and 3 show longitudinal sections through parts of milk cans.
It means 1 the base of the vessel, 2 is the base of the vessel with its reinforced upper part 2 ', over which the base 3 is pulled. 4 is the upper end of the stand ring and 5 grooves or grooves 6 in the reinforced bottom part. With its annular extension 7, it partially surrounds the bottom of the vessel.
In the first exemplary embodiment, the upper end of the standing ring is raised higher than the reinforcement of the bottom of the vessel is enough, and is pressed inward over this reinforcement, so that the ring forms a solid whole with the vessel. In the second and third example according to FIGS. 2 and 3, a groove 5 or grooves 6, into which the stand ring is pressed, are arranged in the base reinforcement 21.
The present process eliminates the need to solder, weld or rivet the base rings, which protect against excessive wear on the jugs on the bottom and which are usually made of a harder material than the vessel itself. Costs are also saved and unnecessary weakening of the vessel is avoided.
