Überspannungsableiter.
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Nimmt man z.

<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
According to the invention, iran mm, in order to take account of the contradicting requirements, must make the resistance so variable that it drops from R to Ro when the voltage increases from E to Eo.
Resistors which change their value as a function of the voltage are known per se.
The object of the invention is to use such a strong voltage-dependent resistor that the specified rule is fulfilled. Such resistors can easily be produced as carborundum rods. Calculations and experiments have shown that the current must grow at least quadratically with the voltage, i.e. that the reciprocal value of the resistance, i.e. H. the conductivity, on average, must increase at least in the same proportion as the voltage.
If you take z. B. the operating voltage to MET and the characteristic impedance to 500 ohms, then the damping resistances at E = 15 KV must have a current consumption of 10 amps.

Record Airpere.
This results in
EMI2.2
The stroke absorption must change according to an exponential function with the exponent 'H, so it must grow approximately quadratically with the voltage, i.e. This means that the conductivity must increase in the same proportion as the voltage. For operating voltages higher than 15 KV, the value of a increases; slow, a: = 2 represents a value that must not be fallen below.
