   Die Erfindung hat den Zweck, Elektroden mit möglichst grossen Oberflächen bei geringem Gewicht und Raumbedarf herzustellen und zweckmässig in Behälter einzubauen. Zu diesem Zwecke werden die Elektroden samt Fahnen aus einem Stück gepresst oder gewalzt und sodann in schraubenförmig aus gebildeten Nuten (N) des in der Zeichnung Fig. 2 im Schnitt dargestellten Elektrodenträgers aus   säure-   beständigem Isoliermaterial untergebracht. Je nach Anzahl der Elektroden werden die schraubenförmigen Nuten (N) zwei-oder mehrgängig ausgeführt. 



   In Fig. 1 ist eine Elektrode nach Herausschrauben aus dem Elektrodenträger, in Fig. 3 der Zusammenbau einer Sammlerzelle im   Glasgefäss   dargestellt.
