 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

The invention relates to a method for drying oil without any supply of heat, in which the oil is subjected to a vacuum in a state that is as finely divided as possible. Under the influence of this vacuum, the moisture contained in the oil evaporates and is sucked off in the form of water vapor at the same time as easily evaporating oil particles. The intimate contact of the oil particles with the air under reduced pressure is sure to remove all moisture particles. The earlier fear that the properties of the oil, e.g. B. the electrical properties of insulating oils, has not proven to be justified, so that the favorable results of the process are not affected by any unpleasant side effects.
 EMI1.2

The method is expediently carried out by letting the oil to be dried flow into a container in which a vacuum is generated (e.g. by a suction pump). The entry point of the oil can now be designed in such a way that the oil is finely distributed right here by providing many small openings with round or slot-shaped cross-sections in the manner of nozzles, or the oil can flow over suitably shaped bodies located in the evaporator chamber, where a large surface ensures in a known way that the oil glides over them in a thin layer. The oil then collects on the bottom and can be sucked off from there. In what way you the two

From here it is sucked off by a second pump and pushed back into the container c. Of course you can push it into another container as well.
