  Mittel zur Verhütung von festhaftenden Kesselsteinablagerungen. 



   Es sind schon Mittel zur Verhütung von Kesselsteinablagerungen vorgeschlagen worden, die verschiedene Gerbstoffe, wie Myrobolanextrakt und Quebrachoextrakt, neben Natriumsalzen enthalten, ferner solche, welche Fluoride enthalten. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Komposition dieser Art, welche jedoch vermöge der besonderen Wahl sowohl der einzelnen Bestandteile als auch des Zusammensetzungsverhältnisses wegen weitaus bessere Ergebnisse liefert als die bereits bekannten Kompositionen dieser Art. 



    Das folgende Mischungsverhältnis gibt ein vortreffliches Resultat:

   Das Mittel wird wie folgt bereitet. In das   aui 80  erwärmte 7/a. :. er   wird zunächst Quebrachoextrakt eingetragen, sodann lässt man die Temperatur auf 60 herabgellen und fügt den Myrobolanextrakt zu. 



  Das Gemisch der beiden Produkte ist homogen. Man fügt dann das Natriumbikarbonat und das Natriumfluorid hinzu. 



   Das Mittel kann in fester Form erhalten werden, indem man zerkleinerte oder zerriebene Myrobolanen und Quebracho oder deren trockene Extrakte mit dem Natriumbikarbonat und-fluorid vermischt. Es hat den grossen Vorteil, dass es Metalle, wie Eisen, Kupfer u. dgl. nicht angreift. Es löst den Kesselstein nicht auf, nimmt ihm aber die Eigenschaft, an den Kesselwänden zu haften. 



   Die Verwendungsweise ist folgende. Man bringt in den lediglich für den Kessel dienenden Speisewasserbehälter die für eine Woche oder einen Monat erforderliche Menge des Mittels je nach der Grösse des Behälters. Die zu verwendende Menge des Mittels beträgt ein Viertelliter des flüssigen Mittels per Tonne zu verdampfenden Wassers von mittlerer Reinheit, doch richtet sich die Menge des Mittels nach dem Reinheitsgrad des Speisewassers. Das Mittel ist nicht giftig und belästigt die Bedienungsleute nicht.

   Means for preventing scale deposits have already been proposed which contain various tannins, such as myrobolan extract and quebracho extract, in addition to sodium salts, and also those which contain fluorides. The invention relates to a composition of this type which, however, owing to the special choice of both the individual components and the composition ratio, gives far better results than the already known compositions of this type.



    The following mixing ratio gives an excellent result:

   The remedy is prepared as follows. In the aui 80 warmed 7 / a. :. it is first added quebracho extract, then the temperature is allowed to drop to 60 and the myrobolan extract is added.
