Briefordner mit Deckschiene.
Die bisherigen Deckschienen von Briefordnern haben nur den Zweck, die Schriftstücke festzuhalten, damit diese beim Aufstellen der Ordner nicht flattern und dadurch die Lochung der Papiere geschont wird.
Zum Unterschiede von diesen Deckschienen dient die Deckschiene gemäss der Erfindung nicht nur zum Festhalten des Schriftgutes, sondern kann auch zum Blättern verwendet werden, u. zw. mit Hilfe von umlegbaren Bügeln, die auf der Schiene angeordnet sind und in die röhrenförmigen Aufreihstifte gesteckt werden können. Diese Bügel dienen gleichzeitig - zum Festklemmen der Deckschiene arf den Aufreihstiften.
Die neue Decksehiene besteht aus der Schiene N, auf der zwei umlegbare Bügel B1 und & ; aus Stahldraht drehbar gelagert sind. Die Schiene hat zwei Öffnungen, die je nach Bedarf voneinander entfernt sind und die zur Aufnahme der Aufreihstifte Al und A2 bestimmt sind.
In jeder Öffnung befindet sich eine Feder f1 und f2, die zum federnden Befestigen der Schiene auf den Aufreihstiften dient. Die Bügelwellen w1, und w2 sind mit Zapfen e1 und e versehen, welche zum Festklemmen der Deckschiene gegen die Aufreihstifte und zugleich als Anschlag in der senkrechten Stellung der Bügel dienen. Die Bügelenden sind abgesetzt, damit sie in die röhrenförmigen Aufreihstifte gesteckt werden können und dann mit ihnen zusammen einen geschlossenen Bogen bilden.
Wenn Schriftstücke festgeklemmt werden sollen, werden die Bügel der Deeksehiene zuerst hochgeklappt und dann die Schiene auf die Aufreihstifte aufgesteckt, bis sie auf den Schriftstücken aufliegt. Sodann werden die Schriftstücke mit der Deckschiene niedergedrückt und die Bügel umgelegt, wodurch die Deckschiene fest auf die Schriftstücke gezogen und festgeklemmt wird. Werden die Bügel hochgeklappt, so bleiben sie durch den Anschlag der Zapfen in der senkrechten Stellung stehen und lockern zugleich die Deckschiene.
Werden jetzt nach Herausheben der Deckschiene die Bügel auf die Aufreihstifte aufgesteckt, so entstehen aus A und B geschlossene Bügel, die das Blättern in den Schriftstücken wie bei den bisherigen Mechaniken ermöglichen.

The new deck rail consists of rail N, on which two foldable brackets B1 and &; are rotatably mounted from steel wire. The rail has two openings, which are spaced apart as required and which are intended to accommodate the alignment pins A1 and A2.
In each opening there is a spring f1 and f2, which is used to resiliently attach the rail to the alignment pins. The bracket shafts w1, and w2 are provided with pins e1 and e, which serve to clamp the cover rail against the alignment pins and at the same time as a stop in the vertical position of the bracket. The temple ends are offset so that they can be inserted into the tubular alignment pins and then form a closed arc with them.
If documents are to be clamped, the brackets of the Deeksehiene are first folded up and then the rail is slipped onto the alignment pins until it rests on the documents. The documents are then pressed down with the cover rail and the brackets are turned over, whereby the cover rail is pulled firmly onto the documents and clamped. If the brackets are folded up, they remain in the vertical position due to the stop of the pins and at the same time loosen the cover rail.
If the brackets are now attached to the alignment pins after the cover rail has been lifted out, closed brackets are created from A and B, which enable the scrolling of the documents as with the previous mechanisms.
