Cabinet for the fireproof and clear storage of matrices, drawings, breaks 11.
The invention relates to a cabinet for the fire-safe and clearly arranged storage of matrices and drawings. Breaks and The like. And consists in that the drawings or the like to be kept are placed in folders made of fireproof material, which folders can be folded out of upright frames. These frames run in rails, which are attached to round bars in the cupboard with clamps, so that rails and frames can be replaced as required.
For easy use of the folders, they have feet that can be folded out at their foot end and a cover that can be opened upwards, and they are also guided in slots in the frames by means of rollers so that after the feet have been folded out and down they come into a horizontal position and can be conveniently operated .

In the cabinet 1, which itself can also be made of fireproof material, there are round bars or the like 2, to which the running rails 3 are attached by means of clamps.
In these rails run by means of rollers 5, the frame 4 with full rear wall and with

of the opened cover, the bolt 16 is used and the screws 15 with the wing nuts are used to compress or hold the contents together. At the foot end of the folder, the hinged feet 11, which insert themselves into the plane of the back of the folder and for which a space 10 is left out, are attached to hinges. To hold the

If the folders are to be used to store drawings or the like in roll form, then the side strips are provided on the inside with additional strips 18 with holes 19 in which the axle ends of the rolls are accommodated. One of the axle ends is cushioned by a spring so that the rollers can be inserted into the bores. The folders and frames are made of fire-proof material, u. between the latter made of sheet metal and the former made of a combination of sheet steel, asbestos and cardboard or of asbestos and cardboard alone.
The actuation process is as follows: The frame, which has a replaceable content note sheet on the side, is pulled out of the running rails, with a stop being provided at the left end in a known manner to prevent it from being pulled out completely. The folder is then pulled down as far as the slots in the side parts extend by means of the lid handle. The folded feet are released and serve as a support for the now horizontal folder. After loosening the wing nuts, the cover is flipped up and fastened with the latch, whereupon the contents of the folder are exposed.
