Device for automatically disconnecting cracked lines.

There are already known automatic switches in the form of plugs which, if a line wire breaks, render it currentless by disconnecting it from the rest of the line.

The invention also relates to such a device and consists in the fact that at the anchoring points of the line on the traverse of the mast, two support insulator arrangements are provided which can be pivoted on one side about joints 6 and each carry a transfer rail 12 with weight 13, which is easily supported by a plug contact 10 are releasably connected to each other.

The invention has the advantage that it can also be installed subsequently easily and without significant changes to any line system and that it also has a compensating effect in normal operation when vibrations occur in the clamping fields.

The invention works as follows: Reisst z. B. the line on one side of the mast, the relevant post insulator arrangement is pivoted in the direction of the torn line under the action of the weight 13 and the line wire, wherein the plug 10 is opened, and the torn line de-energizes.
