   Die Erfindung betrifft eine Reinigungsmasse aus Schwamm zum Reinigen von Bierleitungen u. dgl. und kennzeichnet sich dadurch, dass der aus einem oder mehreren StÜcken bestehende   Schwammkörper,   z. B. Meerschwamm, Gummischwamm u. dgl., mit Wasserglas imprägniert ist. Die Imprägnierung des Schwammkörpers mit Wasserglas bewirkt, dass der Schwamm   scheuernde Wirkung ausübt,   wie sie sonst keiner andern der bekannten Reinigungsmassen zukommt.

   Die dem Schwamm innewohnende Elastizität drückt die Kanten des imprägnierten, an der Aussenfläche glasartige Beschaffenheit aufweisenden Schwammkörpers an die Wände der Leitungen, wodurch eine sehr gute Scheuerwirkung herbeigeführt wird, ohne dass ein Ritzen der Bierleitungen stattfinden könnte, wie dies bei andern stückigen Reinigungsmitteln der Fall ist.
