Sicherheitsgashahn.
EMI1.1

Safety gas tap.
EMI1.1
gas tap and consists in the fact that the handle rests on a spring provided in an axial bore of the tap and has a side arm which, when the handle is pushed in for the purpose of coupling with a lateral recess of the tap, comes from a slot in a cap that prevents rotation of the handle when the gas line is blocked comes out and is pressed under this, so that it is prevented from uncoupling during its rotation by the full lower surface of the cap. This is how the
Use of the tap and its actuation in the simplest possible way is mechanized or automated, so that any incorrect or ineffective handling is impossible. Unintentional opening of the gas line through carelessness is impossible.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment: FIG. 1 shows the safety gas valve in the closed state, partially in section, FIG. 2 is a plan view, FIG. 3 shows the coupling and locking device in section with the position of the rotated relative to FIG Hahnes, Fig. 4 in plan view.
The cock cone 1 has in its upper part an axial bore 2, into which the handle 3 protrudes with its lower end, which is formed into a collar 4. Under the collar 4, a compression spring 5 is provided in the bore 2, which presses the handle upwards. In order to prevent the handle 3 from escaping from the bore 2, a plate 6 is attached to the upper end of the tap cone, e.g. B. by means of screws, the central opening of which only allows the thin shaft of the handle to pass through. A side arm 7 is provided on the shaft of the handle 3 which, when the handle is pressed down, can engage in a recess 8 in the cock cone and in this way produces the coupling with the cock cone and enables it to be rotated. The movement of the handle is expediently limited in a known manner by stops.
According to the invention, the side arm 7 lies in a slot 13 of a cap 12 in which the shaft of the handle 3, which is circular in cross section, is guided centrally. If, for the purpose of coupling, the handle is pressed downwards against the action of the spring 5, the side arm 7 moves unobstructed out of the slot j downwards to under the cap 12 into the recess 8 of the cock plug or plug; in this position the handle can be rotated (Fig. 4) and takes the chick with it as a result of the coupling produced. If the handle is released in one of these positions, the spring 5 pushes it upwards and the upper edge 14 of the side arm 7 comes into contact with the lower surface of the cap 12, so that the side arm 7 is automatically prevented from lifting out of the recess 8.
The uncoupling takes place only in the position according to FIGS. 1 and 2, that is to say when the gas line is shut off, in that the spring 5 pushes the handle and thus the side arm back into the slot 13.
It is not possible at all to twist the handle without simultaneously exerting pressure on it, which creates a safeguard against careless, unintentional opening of the tap.
