    Es ist schon öfter versucht worden, die keramischen Baustoffe für Apparate und Gefässe der Wasserstoffsuperoxydtechnik durch mechanisch widerstandsfähigere metallische Baustoffe zu ersetzen. 



  Die Ergebnisse sind aber nicht befriedigend gewesen.   



   Es wurde nun gefunden, dass sich zur Herstellung oder Auskleidung von für die Darstellung, Auf-   bewahrung und Verarbeitung von Wasserstoffsuperoxyd bestimmten Apparaten oder Gefässen mit grossem Vorteil unedle Metalle der 4. bis 8. Gruppe des periodischen Systems oder Kupfer, Zink oder Legierungen dieser Metalle mit anderen Metallen als Quecksilber verwenden lassen, wenn man dafür sorgt, dass die mit den Lösungen oder Dämpfen in Berührung kommenden Teile der Apparaturen eine Oberfläche mit Hochglanz besitzen. 



  Diese Materialien eignen sich für Apparate und Gefässe zur Herstellung, Verarbeitung und Aufbewahrung nicht : nur von Wasserstoffsuperoxyd, sondern auch für andere leicht Sauerstoff abgebende   Lösungen, z. B. von Persulfaten, Perboraten u. dgl. Es ist selbstverständlich darauf zu achten, dass man
