Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Gummihülle zum Schutze und zur Pflege des Fusses, die erfindungsgemäss eine einem Hausschuh (Pantoffel) ähnliche Form besitzt und die ganze Fusssohle sowie wenigstens einen Teil der Ferse und den Oberteil des Fusses vom Rist abwärts bis zu den Zehennägeln bedeckt, letztere aber mit Hilfe eines Ausschnittes freilässt.

Der Erfindungsgegenstand hat eine pantoffelartige Form und ist mit einem mehr oder weniger hohen Fersenteil versehen. Der Oberteil 2 reicht bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel vom Rist des Fusses bis zu den Zehennägeln, die jedoch durch einen entsprechenden Ausschnitt 3 im Oberteil 2 frei bleiben.
Am oberen Rand des Fersenteiles sowie im Sohlenteil, bei letzterem an der Stelle, wo sich die Fusshöhlung befindet, sind Befestigungslöcher 4 vorgesehen. An den entsprechenden Stellen ist auch der Strumpf mit solchen Löchern versehen. Die Schutzhülle wird mittels eines Bandes oder einer Schnur, die durch die Löcher 4 sowie die Löcher des Strumpfes durchgezogen und an geeigneter Stelle geknüpft wird, zweckmässig an der Innenseite des Strumpfes befestigt.
Beim Tragen der Schutzhülle wird das Entstehen von harter Haut, Hülneraugen, Frostballen usw. wirksam verhindert. Ferner bleiben Schuhe und Strümpfe vom Schweiss befreit. Auch wird durch das Tragen der Gummihülle der Bildung von Plattfüssen vorgebeugt, indem die Ursachen hiefür, wie Trockenheit der Füsse usw. vermieden werden.

The subject of the invention has a slipper-like shape and is provided with a more or less high heel part. In the illustrated embodiment, the upper part 2 extends from the instep of the foot to the toenails, which, however, remain free due to a corresponding cutout 3 in the upper part 2.
Fastening holes 4 are provided on the upper edge of the heel part and in the sole part, in the latter case at the point where the foot cavity is located. The stocking is also provided with such holes in the appropriate places. The protective cover is expediently attached to the inside of the stocking by means of a tape or a cord which is pulled through the holes 4 and the holes in the stocking and tied at a suitable point.
When wearing the protective cover, the formation of hard skin, case eyes, balls of frost, etc. is effectively prevented. Furthermore, shoes and stockings remain free from sweat. Wearing the rubber cover also prevents the formation of flat feet by avoiding the causes for this, such as dryness of the feet etc.
