Milchschleuder.

Milk extractor.
The invention relates to the housing of the hanging drum of a milk extractor.
In the known arrangements, the housing is generally made of two parts, one of which is attached to the machine frame and the other of which is removable. Such an arrangement requires the presence of more or less strong articulations. According to the invention, in order to remedy this disadvantage, the housing is made in one piece, can swing around an axis of the stand of the milk extractor and is held in the use position by a latch provided in the stand. The upper opening of the housing is so wide that it allows the housing to move past the drum during the pivoting movement of the housing.
In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown and FIG. 1 shows a diagram and FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-11 of FIG. 1.
The housing 6 of the hanging centrifugal drum 7 is supported in its position of use on the one hand by a pin 6a that penetrates the centrifugal stand 4 and enters a notch provided in the housing 6 and on the other hand by eyelets 6b provided on the housing, which sit on a horizontal axis 6c of the stand 4 and around which the housing can be pivoted upwards and downwards.
In order to be able to remove the drum 7, the pin 6a is pulled out and the housing 6 is allowed to swing down about its axis 6c. The upper opening of the housing must therefore be so wide that this oscillation of the housing can take place unhindered, the drum 7 remaining in its suspension.
After the housing has swung down, the drum is freely accessible and can then be removed after lifting it and partially pivoting it about its support hook 3a.
