Electric cylinder furnace for bulk goods.

The invention relates to an electric furnace in the shape of a cylinder for bulk material, with resistance heating and a traveling table which is moved lengthways in the furnace space and in which the heating resistors are expediently attached transversely to the direction of movement of the table. Such ovens are particularly advantageous for. B. for splitting a powdery raw material, e.g. B. of salt, into a solid end product and a gas component in a vacuum. The nature of the salts is irrelevant; both organic and inorganic salts can be used, which can be poured into the furnace in powder form. Up to now, ring ovens with wandertiseh have been used for this purpose, in which the

There are also known ovens with a walking table made of chain link-like interlocking parts. The individual links form a closed base, which is guided horizontally as a belt without end over transport rollers at both furnace ends. So far, however, only the upper run has been used as a table for the transport of goods.

The invention now relates to an electric cylinder furnace for bulk material, with resistance heating and a moving table made of chain-link-like interlocking parts, the individual links of which form a closed base and which are guided horizontally as a belt without end over transport rollers at both furnace ends, in which, according to the invention, those moving in the opposite direction Dreams of the endless chain each form a transport table that is charged with the material to be treated through debris devices that sit at one end of the furnace and are emptied by tilting the table parts when moving over the transport rollers at the opposite furnace ends.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in Fig. 1 in a longitudinal section through the furnace and in Fig. 2 in cross section, in which two traveling tables are superimposed.

and is lined with a heat-resistant material. The heating resistors are marked with c.

They are stretched transversely in the furnace space and are expediently designed so that they can be removed from the furnace space during operation without disturbing the condition inside the furnace. For this purpose, they are enclosed, for example, in heat-resistant pipes that are connected to the furnace shell in an airtight and pressure-tight manner. The traveling tables d, d1 consist of chain link-like interlocking parts which, using bridging pieces, form a closed floor and which are guided horizontally as a belt without end over transport rollers e, e1 at both ends of the furnace. The radiators are located above, below and between the two strands of the endless belt.

If, as in the exemplary embodiment, there are at least two traveling tables made of an endless belt guided over rollers, the row of radiators in the space between the two is expedient

 EMI2.1
It is advisable to have two receptacles 7t, h1 for the finished product, to which the finished product is alternately fed while one of the receptacles is emptied. Excess debris is expediently removed by the transport screws and collected in special containers i, i1.

The device can also be made in such a way that superfluous bulk material is removed from the higher level
Table is fed to the table below, with the amount of bulk material fed to the upper table being measured so that the excess is sufficient for loading the lower table. k is the channel for discharging the gas component.
