Verfahren zur Gewinnung hochwertiger Stoffe mit sexualhormonartiger Wirkung.
Die Reinigung der aus den verschiedensten Ausgangsmaterialien (Sexualorganen, Harn, Faeees, pflanzlichen Organismen) gewonnenen Extrakte sexualhormonartig wirkender Stoffe kann in der Weise durehgeführt werden, dass die methylalkoholischen Lösungen der Extrakte stufenweise mit Wasser versetzt und die Verunreinigungen jedesmal mit Petroläther extrahiert werden (vgl. österr. Patent Nr. 122256).
Bei diesem Reinigungsverfahren kann der Methylalkohol auch durch andere, mit Wasser mischbare organische Flüssigkeiten und der Petroläther durch andere, mit Wasser nicht mischbare organische Flüssigkeiten, in denen das Hormon nicht löslich ist, ganz oder teilweise ersetzt werden.
Eine weitere Reinigung und einen höheren Wirkungswert der so erhaltenen Stoffe kann man gemäss der Erfindung dadurch erzielen, dass man die mit Wasser mehrmals verdünnten hormonhaltigen

The purification of the extracts of substances with a sex hormone-like effect obtained from a wide variety of starting materials (sexual organs, urine, faeces, plant organisms) can be carried out in such a way that the methyl alcoholic solutions of the extracts are gradually mixed with water and the impurities are extracted each time with petroleum ether (cf. Austrian Patent No. 122256).
In this cleaning process, the methyl alcohol can also be replaced in whole or in part by other water-miscible organic liquids and the petroleum ether by other water-immiscible organic liquids in which the hormone is not soluble.
According to the invention, further purification and a higher effectiveness value of the substances obtained in this way can be achieved by using the hormone-containing substances which have been diluted several times with water
