Sorting device for grain and other grains.

There are sorting devices for grain (grain, seeds, o. The like.) Known with a trough-shaped, inclined channel. which performs a shaking movement transversely to its longitudinal direction. With these sorting devices, the heavy goods collect in the middle
 EMI1.1
collects on both sides of the sorting chute above the higher parts of the chute bottom.

According to the invention, the bottom of the slide channel is not troughed, but shaped like a roof. d. H. the bottom is highest in its middle and slopes down towards the sides. This ensures that the light mixture components collect from both sides of the bottom towards the middle and can subsequently be discharged through a single bottom opening provided at the end of the channel.

Another embodiment according to the invention, which, however, is not limited in its application to roof-shaped shaker floors alone, but generally for sorting
 EMI1.2
consists of installing plates above the bottom of the channel. which run in the longitudinal direction of the channel parallel to this and are advantageously inclined transversely to the channel. that the space between the plates and the channel gradually narrows towards the side walls. The components to be sorted out, which have come to the surface of the grain mass due to the vibrating movement, pass through these plates. faster to the apex of the roof-shaped gutter than would be the case without the use of the plates.

The height of the plates is expediently adjustable, because with heavy fruit you have to work with a smaller cushion than with light fruit.

A sorting device according to the invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example, u. between FIG. 1 in longitudinal section, in FIG. 2 in plan view and in FIG. 3 in cross section; Fig. 4 shows a somewhat modified embodiment in cross section,
The obliquely inclined Sortierrimie ordered from the side walls 1 and the bottom 2, which forms a roof lying in the longitudinal direction of the gutter, the highest point of which is in the
 EMI1.3
Discharge opening 4 provided for the lighter components of the goods; the heavier constituents fall off the gutter at the lower end of the gutter near the side walls. The incline of the sorting chute is z. B. adjustable by means of a spindle 5 in a known manner.

Plates 6 are arranged above the channel bottom, which run parallel to the channel in the longitudinal direction of the channel and are hinged to the side walls 1 thereof.

The plates 6 are more inclined to the walls 1 than the channel bottom and can be adjusted in their inclined position. The plates can be made of a rough material. Screw spindles 7, which are guided in nuts attached to a bracket 8, are used to adjust the plates.

The bottom of the channel also expediently consists of a rough material, for example rough wood. roughened iron, or from a fine-meshed wire mesh or

from a sieve or from a perforated sheet. so he can be interchangeable and under ihttt a second. not perforated bottom 9 (Fig. 4) be arranged. A floor made of fine-meshed wire mesh or perforated sheet metal not only has a better sorting effect due to the roughness. but at the same time also achieves a screening of fine impurities such as sand and the like. like

The sorting chute is transversely to the longitudinal axis in a known manner. d. i. in the direction of the arrows p, in a rapid. short-stroke shaking movement. The number of
 EMI2.1
the material is separated into light and heavy components as a result of the action of the shaking movement, the light components a (see Fig. 3) collecting near the apex of the roof-like soil, the heavy components b on the lower parts of the soil. The light components finally fall through the opening 4 provided in the bottom of the channel (arrow B). the heavy components (arrows C) at the end of the channel bottom.
