Node connection with roof trusses.
The use of iron gusset plates in wooden structures and the pushing of wooden rods with the interposition of metal sheets in the butt joints is known. The invention lies in a novel use of these known connecting means in a roof truss.
According to the invention, the clamping bar and strut of the roof truss are connected to one another by means of a gusset plate, this gusset plate engaging in a slot of the plate arranged in the butt joint of these two beams. In the sense of the invention, the sheet metal arranged in the butt joint of the two beams can also be used to connect the purlin.
In the drawing, the node connection according to the invention is shown, u. Between. Fig. 1 shows the roof truss in a view, Figs. 2-4 and 5-7 two embodiments of the node connection according to the invention.

used. Chip bar 1 and strut are connected to one another according to the invention by screwing them to a gusset plate 5 arranged in a slot in the hanger plate 3.
Gusset plate. 5 and shim 3 therefore penetrate one another. The connection of the two beams to the longitudinal bracing beam (purlin) 4 takes place, as shown in Fig. 2-4, in that the shim 3 extended over the joint penetrates the purlin 4 in a slot and is itself secured there by screws 6. Another embodiment shows
