Process for the production of medicinal waters, medicinal water bases and bath additives in solid or liquid form.
It is known to treat natural moor and its products with ultraviolet rays to activate it. Extensive own tests have shown that a number of inorganic compounds or salts with an organic component, if they are in solid form or in
EMI1.1
obtain properties.
In some cases, rays from all wave ranges, u. between alone or combined from different wave ranges, capable of producing such effects.
These new properties of the irradiated substances can generally not be explained by a change in chemical constitution, since their composition and their macrochemical reactions mostly turn out to be the same. They manifest themselves in the fact that such irradiated products influence the metabolism of the living cell, both with external and internal contact, in a way that differs significantly from the effect of the same products when they are not irradiated.
The effect is in all likelihood due to rays emitted by the
EMI1.2
Regulate the mode of action of the irradiated products to a certain extent.
The listed phenomena can be used with the best results for the production of medicinal waters and baths.
1.Bath additive to influence the skin and capillary tone:
A thin layer of saturated saline solution is irradiated first for 7 minutes with a red carbon filament lamp, then exposed to the rays of a mercury vapor lamp for 15 minutes.
2. Bath additive for the treatment of skin diseases:
A mixture of equal parts of sodium chloride, sodium bicarbonate and sodium thiosulphate is irradiated continuously in the thinnest layer of mercury vapor lamps in finely powdered form.
3. Medicinal water salt:
EMI1.3
acetate and 0,001 part of lithium chloride are mixed and irradiated in the most finely divided form on the running band of mercury vapor lamps.
4. Medicinal waters:
A mixture of 3 parts of sodium carbonate, 0.5 parts of sodium chloride and 0.5 parts of potassium chloride are dissolved in 1000 parts of water and the solution is passed through a thin layer of nickel glass
