Mittel zur Bekämpfung von Schild- und Blutläusen, insbesondere der San-Jos-Schildlaus.
Im Stammpatent Nr. 131081 ist ein Verfahren und ein Mittel zur Bekämpfung von Blut-und Schildläusen, insbesondere der San-José-Schildlaus geschützt. Das Mittel besteht aus zwei Spritzungen : Die erste Spritzung, bestehend aus Schwefelnatriumlösung von etwa 10 Be unter Zusatz von etwas Wasserglas, die zweite Spritzung bestehend aus einer etwa 10% Chlorkalziumlösung, der etwas Kalkmilch zugesetzt ist.
Es wurde nun gefunden, dass es für den Effekt vorteilhaft ist, dass dem für die Vorbehandlung dienenden Mittel noch Schwefelleber, Salmiakgeist und Glyzerin zugesetzt wird, wobei die zweite Spritzung ohne Zusatz von Kalkmilch erfolgt.
Beispielsweise hat sich für die erste Spritzung eine Lösung von folgender Zusammensetzung bewährt :
100 Teile Schwefelnatrium von 10 Be, 2 Teile Wasserglas, 5 Teile Schwefelleber, 1 Teil Salmiak- geist, 1 Teil Glyzerin.
Zweite Spritzung : 10% ige Chlorkalziumlösung, ohne Zusatz von Kalkmilch.

The parent patent No. 131081 protects a method and a means for controlling blood insects and scale insects, in particular the San José scale insect. The remedy consists of two injections: The first injection, consisting of a sodium sulphide solution of about 10 Be with the addition of a little water glass, the second injection consisting of a 10% calcium chloride solution to which a little milk of lime is added.
It has now been found that it is advantageous for the effect that the agent used for the pretreatment is also added sulfur liver, ammonia and glycerine, the second spray being carried out without the addition of milk of lime.
For example, a solution with the following composition has proven itself for the first spray:
100 parts sodium sulphide of 10 Be, 2 parts water glass, 5 parts sulfur liver, 1 part ammonia alcohol, 1 part glycerine.
Second spray: 10% calcium chloride solution, without the addition of milk of lime.
