Duplication template.
It is known to use, for the production of visual template sheets as the basis for the plastic masses used for this purpose, protein bodies in the broadest sense or cellulose compounds of various types, rubber, gutta-percha and similar colloidal solutions, which are in
EMI1.1
counting. The advantage of using the polymerisation products of the vinyl esters compared to the substances previously used for producing matrixes is that they are much larger
A number of different solvents dissolve than any other substance used up to now, so that one has the possibility, within the broadest limits, of choosing those solvents for the work process that one considers most suitable for the given working conditions.
Since the
Polivinyl esters are only used together with softeners, possibly also opacifiers, it is also possible to use the compositions produced in this way without the use of a solvent, i.e. only in the molten state. The use of opacifiers for
The production of duplicating templates is already the subject of patent no.120638.
The possibility of avoiding solvents is of course also a considerable saving compared to the processing of cellulose esters, rubber and the like. Like., Which can only be used dissolved in organic solvents, which are both expensive and flammable. Working from the melt flow is also advantageous over the protein templates, as the latter are much longer
Have to go through the drying process. Compared to the wax and soap-containing masses, however, the polivinyl ester masses have the advantage that they are not brittle and do not exude fat, so the stencils produced with them are creasable and permanent.
The durability and, above all, the immutability during storage and under different climates is much greater with these templates than with the cellulose-containing templates. The following softening agents, for example, are considered as additives, some of which are also known as softening agents for cellulose esters or ethers: phthalic acid esters and their derivatives, adipic acid esters and their derivatives, cresyl phosphates, triacetin, glycols and their derivatives and synthetic camphor products.
Finally, an exemplary embodiment is given:
One part of polyvinyl acetate, three parts of dibutyl phthalate, five parts of benzonaphtol are either melted together or in a suitable solvent, e.g. B. carbon tetrachloride, dissolved used for stencil production.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Reproduction template, consisting of a porous support (such as Joshino paper) and a mass, characterized in that the same polymerization products of vinyl esters, for. B.
Polyvinyl acetate or a polymerisation product of vinyl acetate, vinyl chloroacetate or vinyl benzoate or a mixture of poly vinyl acetate and poly vinyl chloride and the like. Like. More, alone or in a mixture with other substances contains.
