 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

  Induction counter.

   In induction meters with a radial drive system, the main current drive magnet (U magnet) is usually attached to the lower leg or magnetic shunt of the shunt drive magnet (G or E magnet) arranged radially in relation to the meter wheel, whereby the attachment itself is in the The case of the most varied of structural solutions is generally carried out by means of rivets or screws, which rivets or screws directly connect the structural elements to be connected to one another.

   Such solutions have certain disadvantages with regard to the assembly or possible repairs, since the play existing between the screw bolts or the rivet shafts and their related bores makes it unsafe to attach the U-magnet in exactly the same place and in the same position; furthermore, dismantling and reassembling - especially in the case of riveted connections - is difficult and expensive and can give rise to damage.

   According to the invention, these disadvantages can be remedied in that, in order to fasten the U-magnet, a device is attached to the lower part of the G or E-magnets arranged, designed as a slideway special console is provided, on which the U-magnet is simply pressed by means of the usual connecting elements, such as screws or rivets.

   1-6 of the accompanying drawings show some schematic embodiments of the invention, u. Between FIGS. 1 and 4, FIG. 5 also shows the use of screws, while FIG. 6 shows the use of wedges. FIGS. 1-4 relate to a given embodiment, FIGS associated overall arrangement of construction and Figs. 3 and 4 show the details thereof.

     According to FIGS. 1 and 2, the drive system of the meter consists of the magnet J (E magnet), which is excited in the shunt, and also of the main current magnet 2 (U magnet), its related coils. 3 and 4 are designated. On the lower magnetic shunt handle 5 of the E-magnet, the console 6 made of non-magnetic material is in any appropriate way, e.g. B. by means of rivets or screws attached. This console, which can possibly also carry the lower bearing of the counter disk, forms a slide for the U-magnet, on which the U-magnet can be moved in the longitudinal direction by means of the grooves 7.

   The side play between the console 6 and the grooves 7 is very small, in two ways only as large as it is necessary to prevent jamming, the size of the vertical play playing no role. To adjust the U-magnet
 EMI1.1
 at the lugs 9 of the piece 8 or at the lugs 10 of the console 6 are provided. The U-magnet is pressed firmly on the slide track by means of the screws 11, through which the teeth 12 of the grooves 7 can be pressed against the console 6.

   When disassembling the U-magnet is after loosening the screws 11 in the longitudinal direction of the console 6 in the position of FIG. 1 so far to the right until the guide groove 7 after completely leaving the wide transition 1. 3 to the part of the smaller width Console 6 arrives, after which the U-magnet can simply be lifted off the console down or to the side. When assembling the U-magnet is placed on the narrower part of the console and then moved to the left until the wider leading edges of the console engage in the grooves 7 or until the U-magnet has reached the end position determined by the stops 9 or 10 , after which the screws 11 are tightened to secure this end position.

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   As can be seen directly from the preceding description and from the related FIGS. 1-4, the U-magnet can be easily removed with a small number of manipulations and also simply installed again in the same end position.

   The groove 7 is not absolutely necessary to produce the slide or its width can be increased beyond the thickness dimension of the bracket 6 to such an extent that the groove finally disappears, since the teeth 12 of the magnet are sufficient for pressing on.

   5 shows an incorrect arrangement with regard to the pressing of the console, according to which the tightening thread for the screws 11 is not provided in the magnet 2, but in the console 6.

   According to FIG. 6, the fastening screws 11 can also, for example, by means of wedges pressed into the grooves 7. M to be replaced. In this case, the lower groove surface is designed to be inclined. With similar inclined keyways, however, the keys can also be arranged on the upper side of the console.

   As already mentioned in connection with FIGS. 1-4, the console 6 can expediently also support the lower bearing of the counter disk.

   It is not absolutely necessary for the console 6 to consist of non-magnetic material, since it is only important that this structural element does not form a magnetic short circuit for the U-magnet. For this reason, in order to produce a magnetic shunt, the use of a solution in which the support bracket is isolated from the U-magnet by a non-magnetic intermediate piece is sufficient.

   With regard to the shape and mutual arrangement of the console 6 and the associated guide surfaces of the U-magnet, and also with regard to the arrangement of the stops limiting the setting, numerous other equivalent solutions can be given which do not deviate significantly from the inventive idea.
