Vorrichtung zur selbsttätigen und kontinuierlichen Herstellung eines bestimmten Mischungsverhat- nisses von Stoffen verschiedener Konsistenz.
Im Patente Nr. 134852 ist eine Vorrichtung zur selbsttätigen und kontinuierlichen Herstellung eines bestimmten Mischungsverhältnisses von Stoffen verschiedener Konsistenz beschrieben. Diese
Vorrichtung besitzt noch einige Unvollkommenheiten insofern, als bei starker Verschiedenheit des
Charakters der zu mischenden Stoffe verschiedener Konsistenz die verwandte Apparatur nicht in genügend weiten Grenzen verstellbar ist, sondern es sind unter Umständen in solchem Falle Änderungen in der
Bemessung einzelner Teile vorzunehmen, um die Vorrichtung den vorliegenden Umständen anzupassen.
Die Erfindung soll diese Unvollkommenheiten beseitigen, u. zw. dadurch, dass einmal eine Änderung der Belastung der Vorrichtung dadurch ermöglicht wird, dass der zur Konstanthaltung des Niveaus vor der Vorrichtung befindliche Überlauf in an sich bekannter Weise durch einen Regulierschieber w1 ersetzt wird, der auf eine dem Charakter der zu mischenden Stoffe entsprechende Höhe eingestellt werden kann.
Ferner wird nach der Erfindung in den Zulauf zum Behälter f eine auswechselbare oder verstellbare Düse, die auf der Zeichnung mit x bezeichnet ist, eingesetzt. Durch diese Düse ist es möglich, je nach der Art des Stoffes den Zulauf zu dem Behälter f der Menge nach zu begrenzen. Veranlassung zu dem Einbau dieser Düse ist die Tatsache, dass die Reibungswiderstände in einer Düse sich nur wenig mit der Verschiedenheit der Konsistenz verändern, während sie bei Anwendung eines längeren Rohres wesentliche Abweichungen zeigen. Die Begrenzung der zum Behälter f fliessenden Stoffmenge beeinflusst aber im Zusammenhang mit den weiter beschriebenen Einrichtungen auch die Feinfühligkeit der ganzen Apparatur.
Des weiteren ist zur Erzielung einer höheren Feinfühligkeit die in dem Stammpatent Nr. 134852 mit t bezeichnete Membran nicht mehr vertikal, sondern horizontal eingebaut, u. zw. als Abschluss des Behälters f, und da hiedurch der Behälter t kein freies Niveau besitzt, ist an demselben ein Niveaurohr y angebaut. Je nach der Bemessung des Querschnittes dieses Rohres im Vergleich zum Querschnitt des Sammelbehälters f wirken sich die wechselnden Reibungsverhältnisse im Auslaufrohr g verschieden aus.
Durch einen mehr oder weniger weiten Querschnitt des Niveaurohres kann der Impuls auf die Membran mehr oder weniger gedämpft werden.
Da die Niveauänderungen in einem bestimmten, allein vom Charakter und von der Konsistenz des durchfliessenden Stoffes abhängigen Verhältnis zu den Konsistenzschwankungen stehen, sieht die Zusatzerfindung weiter eine Graduierung des Rohres y vor, indem dasselbe entweder aus Glas hergestellt oder mit einem durchsichtigen Einsatz versehen ist. Es ist alsdann möglich, aus dem Niveaustand die jeweilige Konsistenz des gerade durchfliessenden Gemisches abzulesen oder die Regelapparatur danach einzustellen.
Der wesentliche Fortschritt dieser vorstehend beschriebenen Vervollkommnungen liegt darin, dass einmal die Empfindlichkeit der Apparatur durch dieselben gesteigert wird, dann aber auch darin, dass die Überwachung erleichtert ist und vor allen Dingen auch die Einstellung. Es ist nunmehr möglich, nach vorheriger Eichung des Niveaurohres eine bestimmte, gewünschte Konsistenz ohne vorherige Probeentnahme sofort wieder einzustellen.

The essential progress of these improvements described above lies in the fact that on the one hand the sensitivity of the apparatus is increased by the same, but then also in that the monitoring is facilitated and above all the adjustment. It is now possible, after prior calibration of the level tube, to set a certain, desired consistency immediately without prior sampling.
