Winding carrier made of ceramic material for high frequency coils.
At extremely high frequencies, the use of chokes is made more difficult by increased energy losses. Up until now, efforts have been made to reduce these losses through appropriate training and arrangement of the conductor. Up until now, relatively little attention has been paid to the formation of the winding carrier.
It is already known to use a winding support made of porcelain for high-frequency coils which is designed in such a way that the windings only touch the support at individual points.
The purpose of this arrangement was to reduce the self-capacitance of the coil as much as possible.
The present invention is based on the knowledge that it is not enough to reduce the intrinsic capacitance of the coil, that rather the question of the extensive elimination of the dielectric losses of the coil carrier is of eminent importance for the technology of extremely high frequencies.
According to the invention, therefore, the winding carrier is formed from a ceramic material,

A very simple casting or pressing mold allows z. B. the embodiment of the roll carrier shown in Fig. 4 for six-fold, to be laid around the rib edge 6 windings, each half of the casting or compression mold corresponding to the upper or lower body half formed by the cut surface 1, 4, 4 ' . In the embodiment of the winding carrier for octagonal turns shown in FIG. 5 (which are placed around the ribs 1, 2, 3 ... 7, 8), each of the two shells of the mold corresponds to one to the right or left of the cut surface. 2, 2 ', 6 lying half of the coil carrier.
PATENT CLAIMS: 1. Winding carrier made of ceramic material for high-frequency coils, characterized in that the material of the carrier is a ceramic material with significantly lower dielectric losses than porcelain, e.g. B. a Speekstein preparation (steatite) known for high-voltage insulators with a technical frequency or a preparation made from iron-free magnesium silicate (calite) is used.
