  Die obengenannten Karbonyle können auch gemischt angewendet werden. Es ist auch möglich, für einen Teil der Füllung andere bis jetzt gebrauchte Gase, z. B. Edelgase, heranzuziehen. Beim Leuchten wird die weisse Lichtfarbe nicht geändert, solange der einem jeden Karbonyl eigene Partialdruck auf-   rechterhalten   bleibt. Auch die Anwesenheit von Quecksilber stört das rein-weisse Leuchten der Röhre nicht.
