Zahnpulver.
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Zahnputzmittel. Das Zahnputzmittel gemäss der Erfindung besteht im wesentlichen aus einer Mischung von Holzmehl, Sägespänen od. dgl. mit Terpentinöl, in der Terpentin- öl in einer zur Hervorrufung einer lösenden bzw. desinfizierendenwirkung ausreichenden Menge vorhanden ist. So ist eine Menge an Terpentinöl von ungefähr 4% auf die Holzmehlmenge gerechnet zweckmässig, also auf 100 g Holzmehl der Zusatz von 4 g Terpentinöl. Bei Zusatz einer ungefähr so grossen Menge wird auch die Wirkung erreicht, dass der Geruch und der Geschmack des Terpentinöls nicht störend wirkt und die Aufsaugefähigkeit des Holzes nicht beeinträchtigt ist.
Zahnputzmittel mit einem Zusatz an ätherischen Ölen, wie z. B. Latschenkieferöl, zur Aromatisierung sind bekannt. Auch die Verwendung von Holzmehl an sich als Zusatz zu Zahnpulver ist bekannt.
Gegenüber den bekannten Zahnputzmitteln ist für das Zahnpulver gemäss der Erfindung unterscheiden, dass einerseits das Holzmehl od. dgl. ein Hauptbestandteil des Zahnpulvers ist und anderseits ein einer Sauerstoffabgabe fähiger Stoff, wie Terpentinöl, in einer solchen Menge zugesetzt wird bzw. in der Mischung enthalten ist, dass er eine lösende und desinfizierende Wirkung ausüben kann, wobei durch die Verwendung von Holzmehl od. dgl. besonders von solchen von harzreichen Hölzern eine leicht scheuernde Wirkung ohne jedwede schädliche Nebenwirkung auf die Zähne oder das Zahnfleich erreicht wird und durch die Kombination von Terpentinöl mit Sägespänen, Holzmehl od. dgl. als Träger erreicht wird, dass das Terpentinöl mit einem Träger vereinigt ist, von welchem es leicht abgegeben wird und so für eine reinigende bzw.
desinfizierende Wirkung in besonders vorteilhafter Weise nutzbar gemacht werden kann. Ein Vorteil der Kombination von Sägespänen, Holzmehl od. dgl. mit Terpentinöl ist auch darin gelegen, dass die nur leichte und dadurch für die Zähne bzw. das Zahnfleieh unschädliche scheuernde Wirkung der Sägespäne, des Holzmehls od. dgl. durch das Zusammenwirken mit dem abgegebenen Terpentinöl zu einer vollwertigen Zahnreinigung befähigt wird, ohne dass es eines Zusatzes der bekannten stärker wirkenden Scheuermittel, wie Kreide, Bimsstein od. dgl., bedarf, die nicht nur den Zahnstein sondern auch den Zahn selbst angreifen und überdies entzündliche Prozesse im Zahnfleisch hervorrufen.
Die Wirkung des Zahnpulvers gemäss der Erfindung kann noch durch Anreicherung des Terpentinöls mit Ozon verstärkt werden.
Beispiel : 100 g Holzmehl werden mit 4 g Terpentinöl vermischt.
