Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

    Photographische   Kamera mit Basisentfernungsmesser.

So ergibt z.

    Photographic camera with basic rangefinder.

   The present invention relates to a photographic camera with a base range finder. In order not to unnecessarily enlarge the camera housing of this type of miniature camera and thus to have to give up the various advantages of the miniature camera such as small weight, handiness and good accommodation options, one feels compelled to adapt the rangefinder to the dimensions of the camera and to make the length of the base of the rangefinder relatively small do. If the base of the range finder is small, however, the setting accuracy is relatively low.

   The present invention has the purpose of eliminating this drawback, u. According to the invention, this is achieved in that, in order to increase the measuring accuracy, a Galilean telescope is attached in front of the viewing opening of the rangefinder, which telescope reproduces the image to be set enlarged. The use of a Galilean telescope for the purpose of enlarging the rangefinder image has very significant advantages. This telescope consists only of a negative and a positive lens and is therefore extremely cheap to manufacture. It is also shorter in construction, so it is particularly suitable for 35mm cameras and has a high image brightness due to the simple optical means.

   The subject matter of the invention is illustrated schematically in one embodiment in the drawing.

   The camera housing 1 is rigidly connected to the base range finder 2. A Galilean telescope 3 is attached in front of the viewing opening of the range finder; it consists in a known manner of a positive and a negative lens and, as a result of these simple optical means, results in an extremely bright image, which contributes significantly to increasing the measurement accuracy. This measurement accuracy is increased to a maximum by the optical enlargement of the range finder image. So z. B. a double optical magnification the same increase in measurement accuracy as doubling the base of the range finder.

   It is therefore possible to obtain any desired measuring accuracy in 35mm cameras with rangefinders on a small base without having to give up the advantages of the 35mm camera (compact, easily manageable design, easy accommodation option).

   To avoid eye defects of the user of the camera, such as short or To compensate for farsightedness, means for focusing the telescope can be provided. This can be done in a simple manner, e.g. B. can be achieved by moving the two lenses of the telescope against each other.
