  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Briketten. 



   Bei den bisher üblichen Verfahren zur Herstellung   von'Briketten   aus Holzkohle u. dgl. wurde das mit dem Bindemittel vermengte und entsprechend vorgeknetete Gut auf einer Presse oder einer ähnlichen Vorrichtung unter starkem Druck (bis zu 1000 Atm. und darüber) in entspreehende   Formstücke   verpresst, die dann einem Glühvorgang unterworfen wurden. 



   Dieses bekannte Verfahren erforderte mit Rücksicht auf die hohen Drüeke schwere und kostspielige Pressen, deren Betrieb mit erheblichem Leistungsverbrauch verbunden ist. 



   Es hat sieh nun gezeigt, dass es möglich ist, Brikette gleicher Festigkeit durch ein Verfahren zu erzeugen, bei dem der einmalige hohe Druck durch eine Anzahl von Schlägen ersetzt wird, die auf das Mischgut mit verhältnismässig geringer Intensität geführt werden. Die Ausübung dieses Verfahrens kann z. B. derart erfolgen, dass das Mischgut in ein rohrartiges, oben offenes Gefäss eingeführt wird und durch einen hineinpassenden Stempel eine Anzahl Sehläge (zirka 20) gegen dieses Mischgut geführt werden. 



  Die Mischung ist dann entsprechend verfestigt und ergibt nach Glühung ein vollkommen brauchbares Brikett.
