Drckgasschalter.

Exhaust gas switch.
The parent patent relates to a pressurized gas switch in which the actual switch with its drive device on the one hand and the parts required for the supply of pressurized gas and pressurized gas control on the other hand each form a special device combined into a structural unit, which are set up separately from one another and only connected to one another by pressurized gas lines.
With this arrangement it is sometimes disadvantageous that a pipe with a large cross section has to be used to penetrate the switching wall after the actual switch from the shut-off and blow valve. Such a connecting pipe from the switch-off and blow-off valve to the actual Sehalter 'causes additional compressed air losses. The relatively bulky blow valve in the service aisle, in which the control apparatus is usually housed, may also take up too much space.
An improvement can be achieved here in that, according to the invention, the pneumatically controlled blow valve is arranged separately from the control elements at the actual switch, on the same side of the switching wall as this.
This has the advantage that in front of the retaining wall, in addition to the on / off valve, only a small control valve for actuating the blow valve has to be accommodated, from which only a thin control pressure gas line leads to the main blow valve. The space requirement for the control apparatus is therefore less and the uncomfortable to lay, considerable compressed air loss causing compressed gas pipe of large cross-section is eliminated.
It is a further step in order to reduce the compressed air losses, especially the harmful spaces and the compressed air waste, to a minimum and at the same time to ensure particularly good accessibility of the finer parts of the compressed gas switch arrangement, consists in that the compressed gas storage device and the switch, in particular along with the main valve one side of the partition, and the control and actuation elements, and possibly the compressor with the motor, are arranged on the other side of the partition.
The advantages mentioned are increased if, as stated, a special compressor and drive motor is provided for each pressure gas switch, as this creates easy accessibility of the compressor and drive motor during operation, with the pipeline leading from the compressor to the storage vessel only being a small one
Has cross section, so that it can be conveniently laid.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing. As in the embodiment of the main patent, the actual switch is attached to a switching wall 1 and consists of a base plate 2, a support insulator 3 and the actual switch body 4 with its blowpipe. The drive device is housed in parts 2 and 3. As indicated in the main patent, the pressurized gas storage device can be combined with the control apparatus. The main valve 5 for controlling the supply of pressurized gas for blowing and switching off is arranged according to the invention on the same side of the switching wall 1 as the actual switch, u. zw. For example, as indicated in the drawing, below the base plate 2. The valve 5 can form a separate component or be assembled with the switch.
The valve is controlled pneumatically in a manner known per se. The small control valve 6 required for this is arranged on the other side of the switching wall and
