  Peaked cap.

The invention relates to headgear with visors, such as. B. umbrella caps, peaked caps u. Like. And the invention consists in that the screen or the screen insert is multilayered. is formed in at least two layers from with rubber solutions or dispersions or the like. In particular latex impregnated and vulcanized fabric.

Such a multi-layer screen or such a multi-layer screen insert is best produced in such a way that the individual fabric layers are impregnated with latex or the like on the facing surfaces, which also results in an inextricable union of the fabric layers with one another.

When the method is carried out, the impregnation is carried out using vulcanization accelerators, which allow the fabric to vulcanize at such low temperatures that the fabric does not suffer.

An umbrella according to the invention combines the stiffness with the advantage that it is flexible or elastic without breaking, so that such umbrella caps can also be rolled up without breaking.
