Whisk, especially for bottles of M. the like.

Whisk with one end to each other and at the other end to two mutually adjustable parts articulated, in the manner of a screen frame, strip-shaped agitator blades which can be spread apart in the stretched state, i. H. with the greatest possible mutual distance between the two mutually adjustable parts, through a small opening in a vessel, for. B. a bottle, introduced and then brought into the use position by spreading them apart, are already known. In order to achieve thorough mixing of the liquid, they must be turned as quickly as possible. That is why gears with quick gear ratios are common for them.

According to the invention, the above-mentioned mixing process should be supported by generating liquid flows which run in different, non-horizontal directions. For this purpose, the two ends of each impeller are twisted against each other by 900 or an angular amount different from this amount by 180 or a multiple thereof, so that the agitator blades act like a propeller.

In the drawing, an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown. For the sake of simplicity, only two three-joint systems are shown here, u. between right and left of the central pole. Of course, however, any number of such joint systems can be attached. Fig. 1 shows the device according to the invention in the state in which it can be inserted through the bottle neck into the bottle. Fig. 2, however, in the state in which it is during its rotation. With 1 the center pole is made of metal. Wood or the like. Denotes, at the lower end of which a shoe 2 is attached, the approaches. 3 contains, in which the lower agitator blades 4 are hinged.

Furthermore, a sleeve 5 slides along the rod J, which is provided with lugs 6, in which the upper agitator blades 7 are hinged. An upper and a lower impeller 7 and 4 are articulated to one another at 8. A pin 9 provided on the rod 1 prevents the sleeve 5 from sliding too far down the rod 1 during the rotation.

The agitator blades 4 and 7 are designed so that the plane of their beginning to the level of their end around the longitudinal axis of the agitator blade by 90 +. 180 is twisted, where the factor n can run through the numbers 0, 1, 2,3, 4 etc. 1 and 2 show agitator blades only twisted by 90 '.

The beginning of the impeller 7, which is closer to the approach 6, will only contribute to the mixing of the liquid to a subordinate extent, but the middle rotated part, when turned clockwise (viewed from above) will cause a flow of liquid obliquely upwards and the end of the impeller 7 will flow in a liquid flow the tangential direction. The agitator blade 4 acts in a similar manner, but its central part, when rotated in the aforementioned sense, causes a flow of liquid obliquely downward. Upward currents and downward currents are produced by a single impeller when its plane is rotated 2700.

These different currents accelerate the mixing process so that a slow rotation of the whisk is sufficient.
