Abstract
Kultursubstrat enthaltend eine Erdmatrix und natürliche Pilzsporen zur Verbesserung des Pflanzenwachstums.
Description
Beschreibung [0001] Die Erfindung betrifft ein Kultursubstrat, welches Sporen von natürlich vorkommenden Pilzen enthält, wobei diese für eine verbesserte Nährstoffaufnahme durch die Pflanzenwurzeln sorgen.
[0002] Üblicherweise kommen in der Landwirtschaft und insbesondere in Gärtnereien Kultursubstrate zur Anwendung beispielsweise aus Torf und anderen Zusatzstoffen bestehen. Zusatzstoffe sind dabei in der Regel Sand, Ton, aufgeschäumtes Glas, Holzfasern, Rinde und dergleichen. Die Zusatzstoffe sollen insbesondere eine Auflockerung des Bodens bewirken die Wasserhaltekapazität maximieren. Durch die Heterogenität der verwendeten Bestandteile ist das Einstellen einer optimalen Nährstoffkonzentration im Kultursubstrat herausfordernd. Deshalb werde ebenfalls Zusatzstoffe verwendet um hohe Nährstoffkonzentrationen von z.B. durch die Verwendung Kompost im Endsubstrate auszugleichen und zu optimieren. Durch die Zusatzstoffe soll gutes Wurzelwachstum ermöglicht und folglich verbessertes Pflanzenwachstum erzielt werden.
[0003] Torf als fossiles Naturprodukt ist jedoch nur in begrenzten Mengen vorhanden. Extensiver Torfabbau verursacht Umweltschäden, setzt Treibhausgase frei und vernichtet ökologisch wertvollen Lebensraum. Andere natürliche Zusatzstoffe, wie zum Beispiel Rindenmulch können zu einer Übersäuerung des Bodens führen, was das Wachstum der Kulturpflanzen negativ beeinflussen kann.
[0004] Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist es daher, ein umweltfreundliches Kultursubstrat zur Verfügung zu stellen, welches für eine verbesserte Nährstoffaufnahme durch die Pflanzenwurzeln sorgt und somit das Pflanzenwachstum fördert.
[0005] Diese Aufgabe wird durch den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung gelöst.
[0006] Das Kultursubstrat ist insbesondere für den Einsatz im Gemüse- und Blumengarten geeignet. Eine Ausführungsform der vorliegenden Erfindung umfasst daher ein Kultursubstrat bestehend aus einer Erdmatrix und einem Sporeninokulum.
[0007] Die Besonderheit des Kultursubstrats liegt in dem darin enthaltenden Sporeninokulum, welches aus Sporen von natürlich vorkommenden Pilzen besteht. Beim Kultivieren von Pflanzen in dem erfindungsgemäßen Kultursubstrat gehen nach dem Auskeimen der Sporen die so gebildeten Pilze eine Symbiose mit den Pflanzenwurzeln ein und erhöhen somit die Nährstoffaufnahme. Die Symbiose des Pilzmyzels mit den Pflanzenwurzeln vergrößert die Wurzeloberfläche und verbessert so die Nährstoffaufnahme und macht die Pflanze weniger anfällig für Krankheiten. Die Verwendung der Sporen als Zusatzstoff erleichtert das Erreichen der optimalen Nährstoffversorgung der Pflanzen.
[0008] Weiters verbessert das Pilzmyzel den Boden strukturell und erhöht so die Wasserspeicherfähigkeit sowie die Durchlüftung.
[0009] Das erfindungsgemäße Kultursubstrat ermöglicht eine direkte Anwendung des Sporen-inokulums bei der Kultivierung von Pflanzen beispielsweise in Freiland-, Gewächshauskulturen oder bei Zimmerpflanzen. Das erfindungsgemäße Produkt unterscheidet sich von herkömmlichen, im Stand der Technik beschriebenen Produkten dadurch, dass es sich hierbei um ein Kultursubstrat handelt das optimale Bedingungen für Pflanzen liefert und die Sporen bereits in einem optimalen Verhältnis enthält. Das optimierte Kultursubstrat kann sofort und direkt für die Kultivierung von Pflanzen verwendet werden.
[0010] Das erfindungsgemäße Kultursubstrat enthält ca. 90-99,9 Vol% Erdmatrix und 10-0,1 Vol% Sporeninokulum.
[0011] In einer Ausführungsform enthält das Kultursubstrat ca. 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 99,1, 99,2, 99,3, 99,4, 99,5, 99,6, 99,7, 99,8 oder 99,9 Vol% Erdmatrix. In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform enthält das Kultursubstrat ca. 99,8 Vol% Erdmatrix.
[0012] Die Erdmatrix kann aus variablen Inhaltsstoffen zusammengesetzt sein, wie beispielsweise aus Kompost, Humusboden, Ziegelsplitt, Sand, Holzfaser, Kokosfaser, Torf, Perlit, Ton, Rindenhumus oder ähnlichen. Auch Mischungen davon sind geeignet.
[0013] Die Erdmatrix kann auch noch weitere Zusatzstoffe, wie beispielsweise mineralische und/oder organische Dünger, enthalten.
[0014] Zu dieser Erdmatrix ist ein Sporeninokulum beigemengt, wobei ca. 250 - 25.000 Spo-ren/kg Kultursubstrat zugefügt sind.
[0015] In einer Ausführungsform enthält das Kultursubstrat ca. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0,9, 0,8, 0,7, 0,6, 0,5, 0,4, 0,3, 0,2 oder 0,1 % Sporeninokulum. In einer bevorzugten Ausführungsform enthält das Kultursubstrat ca. 0,2 % Sporeninokulum.
[0016] Mykorrhizapilze liefern den Pflanzen Nährsalze und Wasser. Arbuskuläre Mykorrhizapilze weisen für sie typische Arbuskeln - das sind verzweigte, zarte Hyphen in Bäumchenform -auf.
[0017] Zu den Arbuskulären Mykorrhizapilzen (Glomeromycota) zählen beispielsweise Pilze der Ordnung Archaeosporales, Diversisporales, Glomerales und Paraglomerales.
[0018] Das Sporeninokulum besteht aus Sporen von Arbuskulären Mykorrhizapilzen und enthält vorzugsweise keine weiteren Pilz- oder Pflanzenbestandteile, wie beispielsweise Hyphen oder kolonisierte Pflanzenwurzeln.
[0019] Die Zahl der Pflanzen, die von der Symbiose mit AM- Pilzen profitieren können, ist sehr groß. Darunter sind viele Nutzpflanzen, wobei sich die durch die Symbiose gesteigerte Phosphat-Versorgung positiv auf den Ertrag auswirken kann. Weiterhin bietet die Symbiose mit AM-Pilzen für die Pflanzen einen gewissen Schutz vor Wurzelpathogenen oder schädlichen Pilzinfektionen. Zudem erhöht die Symbiose auch die Trockenresistenz der Pflanzen, was vor allem für wasserintensive Kulturen von Interesse ist.
[0020] Das erfindungsgemäße Kultursubstrat kann insbesondere für alle nicht verholzenden Pflanzen eingesetzt werden.
[0021] Das Substrat kann zumindest 2 Jahre gelagert werden, ohne wesentlich an Auskeimungsrate zu verlieren. D.h. die Auskeimungsrate nach 2 Jahren Lagerung beträgt noch mindestens 50 %.
[0022] Das Kultursubstrat weist eine Restfeuchte auf, die beispielsweise im Bereich von 10 bis 30 % liegt, vorzugsweise ca. 20 % beträgt.
[0023] Die Erdmatrix des Kultursubstrats kann darüber hinaus auch Phosphat enthalten, beispielsweise ca. 50 - 300 mg/L.
[0024] Die Erfindung wird anhand eines Ausführungsbeispiels näher erläutert.
[0025] Zusammensetzung und Spezifikationen des Kultursubstrats: 99,8 Vol% Erdmatrix und 0,2 Vol% Sporeninokulum.
[0026] Die Erdmatrix bestehend beispielsweise aus 30 Vol% Kompost, 40 Vol% gesiebtem Humusboden und 30 Vol% Sandmischung.
