Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

   2. 34 g of camphenilanic acid and 18 g of acetylsalicylic acid are dissolved together as sodium salts in 150 cubic meters of water and a solution of 49 g of bismuth nitrate in 450 cm3 of 20% mannitol solution is allowed to flow. The further processing takes place according to example 1.

   Similarly, the mixed bismuth salts of 2 moles of camphenilanic acid and 1 mole of oleic acid or 2 moles of campholytic acid and 1 mole of stearic acid or 2 moles of naphthenic acid and 1 mole of monobenzyl phthalate or 2 moles of camphenilanic acid and 1 mole of oleylsarcosine or 2 moles of camphenilanic acid and 1 mole of phenylacetic acid can be used in a similar manner . getting produced.

   3. 60 g of camphenilanic acid are dissolved in 150 g of olive oil and this solution is heated with 10 g of bismuth salicylate until it has dissolved. The solution is clear and stable.

   4. 31 g of campholytic acid and 14 g of salicylic acid are dissolved together as sodium salts in a mixture of 75 cubic meters of glycerine and 75 cm3 of water; a solution of 49 g of bismuth nitrate is allowed to do so

    PATENT CLAIMS:
1. A process for the preparation of oil-soluble bismuth salts of organic acids, characterized in that two different organic acids are used as the acid component, only one of which is capable of forming readily oil-soluble bismuth salts.

Claims (1)

2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that a sparingly or not oil-soluble organic bismuth salt is reacted with an organic acid which is capable of forming readily oil-soluble bismuth salts. 3. 3. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that 1 mole of one and 2 moles of the other organic acid is reacted in aqueous solution with bismuth salts.
