Nozzle for sandblasting blowers, in particular for cleaning or removing the paint from
Leather goods.

The invention relates to a nozzle for sandblasting blowers, in particular for cleaning or removing the paint from leather goods such as handbags, shoes, etc.

Sandblasting blowers of the usual design for the purposes mentioned have proven to be appropriate so far. However, it has been found that when using the known nozzles, great care is required in order to e.g. B. to direct the nozzle head when removing the paint from hanger handbags so that the sandblast only on the leather parts and not on the
Metal, leg or Like fittings hits and damages them. Furthermore, it is difficult for small leather goods such. B. women's handbags, shoes, etc. to direct the sandblast in such a way that it cleans the leather parts that are close together along the seams just as thoroughly as the exposed leather surfaces.

It has been shown that the sandblast cleans the leather parts that are tightly gathered together by the seam much worse than the free surfaces, so that the worker is tempted to compensate for this by letting the sandblast act for a correspondingly longer time. However, such a procedure harbors the risk that the sandblast will not only use the narrow ones that need to be cleaned more thoroughly
Areas, but also adjacent surfaces that are in this way from acting for too long
Under certain circumstances, sandblasting can even be destroyed, but in any case be roughened in such a way that the subsequent coloring causes an inadmissibly significantly darker coloring at these points.

The device according to the invention now consists in that the nozzle opening is provided with a preferably tubular extension which essentially maintains the clear nozzle width, is designed to be flexible and the outlet cross section of which can be regulated. By adapting the shape of the nozzle and the clear width of the nozzle to the surface of the workpiece to be processed, cleaning of narrowly limited surface areas, e.g. B. seams, possible without the adjacent surfaces can be adversely affected by extensions of the sandblast.

A particularly simple and effective embodiment according to the invention is that the flexible nozzle extension is formed by a piece of hose inserted into the nozzle opening, the end cross-section of which can be regulated in a simple manner by more or less squeezing the hose at its end. This can be achieved by placing the hose end at an angle on the surface to be cleaned and squeezing it as required by pressing it down. It has been shown that the disadvantages mentioned can be avoided in this way.

The drawing shows the schematic cross section of an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention.

The sand feed line b and the compressed air feed line c open into the nozzle chamber a. A cap d is placed over the opening of the nozzle chamber a, through the opening of which the nozzle head e fixed by means of the cap 9 protrudes.

According to the invention, a flexible hose t of short length is inserted into the opening of the nozzle head e, the inner end of which is preferably fixed by a clamping cone g. According to the invention, the outer end of the hose f, which is advantageously made of rubber, can be regulated in its effective cross-section either directly by hand or by placing it at an angle and simultaneously pressing it down.
