  Garbenband 
Es sind bereits Vorrichtungen zum Binden von Garben u. dgl. bekannt, die Verschlüsse in Form von Schnallen besitzen, bei denen das
Band nach Durchstecken oder seitlichem Ein- schieben durch die Spannung des zusammen- gepressten Gutes klemmt und daher am Gleiten verhindert ist. Da diese Garbenbänder aus weichen Textilbändern bestehen, tritt die Wirkung nur dann ein, wenn die Zugspannung im Ver- schluss genügend gross ist ; wenn dies nicht der
Fall ist, besteht die Gefahr, dass die Bänder seitlich herausfallen. 



   Diese Nachteile werden durch die vorliegende Erfindung dadurch vermieden, dass bei einem
Garbenband in Form eines schmalen Blechstreifens mit einer Schliesse aus Stahlblech, die steife Blechschliesse seitlich zweifach eingesägt oder eingefräst ist, so dass das Blechband seitlich eingeschoben werden kann und dadurch eine unverschiebbare Verkantung erzielt wird. 



   In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, u. zw. zeigt Fig. 1 die Schliesse in Ansicht und Fig. 2 das ganze Garbenband in geschlossenem Zustande. 



   Das Garbenband besteht aus einem schmalen Blechstreifen 1 mit daran befestigter Schliesse 2. Diese Schliesse ist aus Stahlblech gefertigt und besitzt zwei seitliche   Einfräsungen. ?,   deren Breite nur um ein Geringes grösser ist als die Dicke des Blechbandes 1. Beim Binden von Garben u. dgl. wird das Blechband, wie Fig. 2 zeigt, seitlich in die beiden Schlitze eingeschoben ; hiedurch tritt ein vollkommenes Verklemmen bzw. Verkanten ein, das unabhängig von der durch das Festziehen des Bandes entstehenden Zugspannung ist.
