Heisswasser-Apparat

Hot water machine
Hot water heaters, especially storage tanks, are thermally insulated. With the smaller types, a sheet metal jacket is built around the liquid container and the space in between is filled with loose heat protection agents. It is well known that larger containers are surrounded with insulating bricks or mats and bandaged with wire, paper or fabric and the surface is covered with plaster of paris or paint.
While the small devices in the living rooms are installed directly at the point of consumption, the large ones are arranged in side rooms. Therefore, with small types, more value is placed on a beautiful appearance than with large ones.
The pleasing, beautiful equipment is easy to achieve with sheet metal cladding.
According to the concept of the invention, the outer protective sheath is not made of sheet metal, but of commercially available, domestic plastics with a pleasing appearance. It is thought of the large number of known plastics to the use of those made of natural or synthetic, organic materials, such as. B. cellulose, cardboard, fibrous materials, wood fiber boards in connection with resins, synthetic resins with various fillers in the form of boards, injection, molding or casting compounds. For the purpose of improvement or embellishment, these plastics are occasionally subjected to an after-treatment, such as B. by impregnation, paint or metal spraying, by covering with wallpaper or metal foils, etc.
This increases the mechanical strength and improves the resistance to moisture and fire.
As a special feature of the protective jackets for liquid containers produced according to the concept of the invention, it should be mentioned that the structure of the casing is similar to that made of sheet metal. So the outer skin of the apparatus is as dimensionally stable as possible when it is assembled and is not first consolidated in the known manner with the thermal insulation. The dimensional rigidity of the plastics that can be used allows the outer protective sheaths to be manufactured in series independently of the inner liquid container in the same way as is customary for sheet metal protective shells.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Hot water apparatus, in particular hot water storage tank, characterized in that the protective jacket arranged around the liquid container or over the thermal insulation is made of a plastic made with natural or synthetic, organic materials and as dimensionally stable as possible, such as. B.
Cellulose, cardboard, fibrous materials, etc., and is made from sheets or from an injection, press or pourable mass.
