Small mower, especially for mountainous terrain
Motor-driven small mowers with mower bars protruding on one side have already been proposed, which are to be guided by means of a single running wheel on handles. However, these mowers cannot be used in mountainous terrain, as they are not secured against falling over when they are inclined, so that the man leading the Mähmaschinr has to prevent this with the strength of his arms, which is no longer possible at a steep incline.
The invention provides a small mower which is particularly suitable for mountainous terrain and no longer has the aforementioned disadvantage. In a known manner, it has a motor drive, a cantilever cutter bar and a single running wheel that is to be guided by handles, but differs from the known machines in that the one provided with the handles is used to support the running wheel and
Drive serving frame on one side
Side of the impeller is formed by a tube that protrudes far beyond the bearing point of the impeller and forms the pivot axis for the cutter bar pivotable about the longitudinal axis of the pipe.
Such an arrangement enables the cutter bar to adapt to the inclination of the slope, without the frame including the wheel, motor and manual levers needing to be moved out of their normal position, which eliminates the risk of tipping over.
The protruding tube preferably serves at the same time for the protected, per se known accommodation of the drive shaft for the blades of the cutter bar. Furthermore, a pipe section is expediently attached to the cutter bar, by means of which it is mounted on the front end of the frame pipe so that it can pivot and can be locked in various pivot positions.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown, u. Between FIG. 1 shows a side view of a mower, FIG. 2 shows a top view, FIG. 3 shows an enlarged
Section according to Lime III-III of FIGS. 4 and 4, a detail in plan view, enlarged and partially in section.
The frame of the machine consists of the tube 1 and the frame 2 attached to it, on which the wheel 3, which is provided with gripping ribs on the circumference, is mounted and the motor 4, including the fuel tank and transmission gear 4 ', is attached. In the tube 1, the drive shaft 5 for the M. hbalken 6 is mounted, which protrudes on one side at the front end of the tube and corresponds in its construction to the usual.
The wheel 3 seated on the axle 18 can also be given a rotary drive via a suitable transmission. However, such a drive is not shown in the exemplary embodiment shown. A short pipe section 6 ′ is fixedly seated on the cutter bar 6 and is rotatably mounted on the frame tube 1 so that the cutter bar can pivot about the axis of the pipe 1. Around the cutter bar in the various positions both below and above the horizontal central position
To be able to determine swivel positions, a perforated disk 7 sits on the pipe section 6 'and a pipe clamp 9 with a protruding arm sits on the frame pipe 1, in which a plug-in pin 8 is axially displaceably mounted, which is adjusted by means of the pulling element 10 against the action of the spring and thus optionally in one of the Holes of the disc 7 can be inserted.
The is used to guide the mower
Fork 13, which is designed in the manner of a plow stabbing. The lever 15 for controlling the motor sits on the right handle 14 and the lever 17 on the left handle 16
Actuation of the locking device 7-10 for the cutter bar.
When mowing with this machine, the inclination of the cutter bar 6 is adapted to the terrain by means of the lever 17 acting on the tension member 10 so that the cutter bar rests on the ground without the need to change the position of the wheel and frame. This becomes a
Overturning of the machine avoided even on steep terrain and you can mow in the same good manner, regardless of the one to be mowed
Has a surface on the right or left hand.
